Going hairless for awareness
Three great Monaghan men went under the razor for a good cause at the Cavan Autism Education and Training Centre last Friday.
Funds raised by Jarlath Colleran, Kieran Walsh and Conor Walsh will go towards the resumption of CAPS (Cavan Autism Parents Support) camps/activities from July, supports available through SNAP (Special Needs Active Parents) in Monaghan and resources for CAETC (Cavan Autism Education & Training Centre), the new autism specific education and training centre that is now open in Latt, Cavan.
“We are very proud of Conor Walsh for participating in this event, he has been a member of C.A.P.S./S.N.A.P. for a number of years,” said Bernie Nelson, chairperson of CAPS. “Thank you so much to everyone who supported our charities by helping us spread the word and to all who have donated so far. Your kindness and generosity is overwhelming and we are truly filled with gratitude to be part of such a wonderful community.”
