Alice Candon (née McIntyre)

The death has occurred of Alice Candon (née McIntyre) Terenure, Dublin / Crumlin Village, Dublin / Bailieborough, Cavan. Alice passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in her ninety third year, at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin. Late of Skeagh, Bailieborough, Cavan; Innismore House, Crumlin Village, Dublin; and Wainsfort Grove, Terenure, Dublin. Beloved daughter of the late Alice and Francis. Predeceased by her husband Ciarán. Alice will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Sadly also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, John and Mary (Skeagh), Elizabeth (Betty) Kennedy, (Santry, Dublin), Peter Francis (Pete) (Rathfarnham, Dublin) and Catherine (Catha) (Clontarf, Dublin) who passed away on June 20.

Alice’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Rosario and all the staff at Sally Park Nursing Home, Templeogue, Dublin which became Alice’s loving home for the past number of years.

Carmel Fitzpatrick (née Maguire)

The death has occurred of Carmel Fitzpatrick (née Maguire) Milltown, Dublin and Cavan Town, Cavan. Carmel passed on July 16, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family and grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Frank and much loved mother of Geraldine, Padraic, Frank, Maeve, Paula, Philip, Kieran, Sharon and Gerry; she will be greatly missed by her loving children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May she Rest in Peace.

Due to current restrictions a private funeral will take place in the Church of St. Columbanus and Gall Church, Milltown (limited to 50 people) on Monday (19 July) at 10 am. Stanley Warren

The death has occurred of Stanley Warren, Sandymount, Dublin / Wexford / Cavan / Tipperary. Stanley passed on July 15, 2021 (peacefully) after a short illness in the most fantastic care of the nurses and doctors of St. Agnes Ward in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Iris, much loved dad of Clive, Alma and Elaine and gentle grandfather to Scott, Crosby and Denver. Stanley will be dearly missed by his loving wife and family, his caring daughter-in-law Liz, Alma’s kind partner Ken, nephews Herbert, Kenneth, Willie and Derek, nieces Vera and Gladys, relations Jean, Herbie and Jim, sister-in-law Ethel, family friend Triona, and his many kind neighbours and friends in Cavan and Sandymount who were always so helpful in difficult times. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Stanley’s family would like to specially thank Maliga from St. Agnes’s ward, Angela and the team for the wonderful palliative care received and to all at the Rehab Care home help team. He always enjoyed their visits and assistance.

Gerard Kennedy

The death has occurred of Gerard Kennedy Lakeside Village, Castleblayney, Monaghan. Gerard passed on Friday, July 16, 2021. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Nicola and Gerard, their mother Anne, grandchildren Aaron and Amy, son-in-law Kieran, partner Deirdre, neighbours and friends.

Gerry will repose privately at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan. A private cremation will take place on Tuesday July 20 at 5pm.

Following the HSE and Government Guidelines there will be no public wake, Gerry’s funeral will be celebrated privately by his family.
