Mary Flanagan (née Fitzgerald)

Suddenly, at her home, Sunday the 25th of July. Pre-deceased by her by her parents Tom and Kathleen. Sadly missed by her loving husband Vincent and all her children, Michelle, Niamh, Pauric and Cathal, son in-law Seamus and adoring grandson Shéa. Deeply regretted by her brothers, Thomas, Brendan and Gerard, sisters, Teresa and Catherine. Fondly remembered by her brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Ireland, England and America.

Rev Canon Alexandra (Sandra) Lindsay (nee Acheson) Clementstown House, Cootehill, Co Cavan, Saturday July 24th, 2021, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Rev. Cecil. Sandra will be very sadly missed by her dear children Edward, Jean, Heather, Kenneth and Gordon. Mother-in-law of Adrian, Edna and Suzanne, grandma of Amy, Sophie, Abbie, Ross, James, Ellen, Zara and Mark, sister of Margaret, Louis, Gena, Alec and John. Remembered with love by her family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, clergy and a large circle of friends.

Vanessa Mackey, Delbrook Park, Ballinteer, Dublin 16 and formerly, Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 24th July 2021, peacefully, at The Beacon Hospital, Sandyford, surrounded by her loving family.

May she rest in peace.

Removal from Clarke's Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 10.40am to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough, for funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery.

Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm.COVID-19 regulations of social distancing and face coverings will apply.

Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Drumalee Belturbet (Via Grilly) for 12.00 noon funeral Mass. The church will be limited to 50 people. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Those standing along the route to pay there respects are asked to adhere to social distancing and keep everyone safe.

Madeleine McCormack, (nee Fitzpatrick) Drumoohan, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan and formerly Rathcorrick, Crubany, Cavan, Sunday, July 25th, 2021, peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, her sisters Betty, Anne and Maura and brothers Jim and Fr. Benny. Beloved wife of the late Eamonn and devoted mother of John, Madeleine, Raymond and Brian. Madeleine will be very sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, nephews, all her relatives and many friends.

Pre-deceased by her loving and devoted husband Paddy, her father Joseph Emerick and her nanny Mary Walsh. Sadly missed by her heartbroken mother Mary Emerick, her brothers; Joseph Paul, Stephen, Vincent Thomas, her sisters-in-law; Rita Boylan, Nancy McEnroe, Kathleen O'Reilly, brothers-in-law; Gus Shiels (Dublin), Seamus Shiels (Dublin), and pre-deceased by Sean Shiels (Galway) and their wives Rosaleen, Ann and Eileen. Fondly remembered by her cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family in Ireland and America. Deeply regretted by her neighbours, a large circle of work colleagues and friends at Lakeland Dairies.

The death has occurred of Eileen Keenan, née Murphy, peacefully, at home in the presence of her daughter Aileen and son Tony. Eileen, dear wife of the late Lawrance, much loved mother of Gerard, Jimmy, Marie Crilly, Tony and Aileen. Beloved sister of Peter. Sadly missed by daughters in law Patricia, Geraldine, son in law Séan, grandchildren great-grandchildren and wider family circle.

Reposing at her son Gerard’s residence, Drumboat, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan, until removal Tuesday morning, the 27th of July, at 10.30am to Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

Due to current Government guidelines, Eileen’s Funeral Mass will be limited to 50 close family and friends. There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Eileen by being present on route, socially distanced as Eileen is brought from Gerard’s residence via Magoney, Blackstaff, Mullagh, Moyles and Ednamoe, to the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy Inniskeen and afterwards via St Daigs Terrace, Dunard, Derry’s Terrace, Riverside, to St Mary’s Cemetery for burial.

Cara St, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Phil McCarville, Cara St, Clones Co. Monaghan and formerly of The Cosy Bar. Phil passed away peacefully at his daughter Grainne and son-in-law Declan's residence, Castleblayney, Friday 23rd July. Predeceased by his sister Annie and brothers James and John.

Beloved husband of Una and adored father of Geraldine (Peter), Marie, Grainne (Declan) and Yvonne (Christian). Phil will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his Wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, Michelle, Clodagh, Anais, Ross and Daithi, grandsons-in-law, brothers Leo and Frank sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and by all who knew and loved him.
