Postmaster Termon Post Office, Virginia, Co. Cavan, died 26th of July 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his brothers Eugene and Michael. Deeply regretted by his sisters, Eileen, Regina, Marcella and brother Tomás, extended family Bridie, Azad, nieces & nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Removal Tuesday morning, 3rd of August, at 10.30am from Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough (hearse will pause at Sean's Shop) to arrive at St Mary's Church, Clanaphilip, for funeral Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The Mass can be viewed on Clarke's Funeral Home Facebook page (Due to poor coverage, there maybe an interruption in the live transmission and so the funeral Mass will be recorded and available afterwards).

Due to current government and HSE guidelines, Sean's funeral will be private to family and friends only. Everyone is asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines if standing along the funeral procession.

Oliver McCooey, Cornaseer, Cavan, Co. Cavan. Friday July 30th 2021, peacefully at his home in the loving care of his family.

Nuala Nally (née Phillips)

Rathfarnham, Dublin / Ballinagh, Cavan

Nally (née Phillips) (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 and formerly of Ballinagh, Co Cavan) July 30, 2021.

Nuala, beloved wife of the late Harry, loving mother of Ciara, Deirdre and David and adoring Gigi of Liam, Conor and Gráinne.

Predeceased by her brothers Frank and Brian and her sister Moya. Deeply regretted by her children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Collette, brothers Niall and Pat, sisters Finola and Eithne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Strathie, Aiveen nee Murphy, 23 Coragh Road, Kinawley, Co. Fermanagh BT92 4BP, 30th July 2021. Dearly beloved wife of Barry, cherished mother of Caolan, Dean & Kechul, dear daughter of Mary Murphy and the late Hugh, sister of Helena Ward (Malachy) Aodhgan (Donna), Caroline McQuaid (Tony), Brian (Laura), Liam (Aine) and Joseph Geraldine.

Removal to St Nail's Church, Kinawley, on Sunday, 1st August, for Mass at 1.00pm which may be viewed on the Parish Webcam followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by all her loving family, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Rev. Fr. Tommie Culloty

Ballydesmond, Cork / Clare / Leitrim / Galway

Culloty: Glencollins, Ballydesmond and Newmarket. On July 30, 2021, in the excellent care of his niece Mary and Phil, Scarteen Lower, Newmarket, in his 91st year, Rev. Fr. Tommie, previously Brother Anthony. Deeply mourned by his loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, Bishop Brendan Kelly, priests of the Diocese of Galway, former confrères in the De La Salle Order, former parishioners, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Fr. Tommie’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated in accordance with current government guidelines on Monday at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballydesmond and will be live-streamed on https://musicrowstudios.com/index.php/live/. Interment afterwards in the church grounds.

Iris Murphy (née Lowe)

Analore St, Clones, Monaghan

Iris passed away peacefully in Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, 31st July. Beloved wife of Michael and mother of Anne and Michael. Iris will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law Una, son-in-law Christy, grandchildren, Keith, Gareth, Derek, Michael and Kerry, great-grandchildren, Harvey, Mary-Anne, Braydan, Coady, Parker and Logan, her nephew Jimmy, extended family and many friends and by all who knew and loved Iris.

Iris will be resting at the family home, (Please follow HSE & government guidelines, wear a face covering, adhere to social distancing and refrain from hand shaking) tomorrow Sunday from 4pm until removal on Tuesday morning at approximately 10.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the Sacred Heart's Cemetery, Clones.

Due to COVID 19 government restrictions, Iris's Funeral Mass and burial will be private to family and friends and restricted to 50 people.
