Brady, Gerard (Gerry), 36 The Park, Strandhill Road, Sligo and late of Forthill, Arva, Co. Cavan, August 3rd 2021, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo. Predeceased by his loving parents, Paddy and Lily. Dearly loved husband of Thérèse and devoted father of Andrew and Rachel.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brothers and sisters Dympna, Vincent, Teresa, Ann and Tommy, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law Dave and Scott, sisters-in-law Kate and Olivia, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, colleagues and many friends, especially at the Yacht Club.

Reposing at the family home at 36 The Park, Strandhill Road, Sligo, from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on Thursday, August 5th, for family and close friends. Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am on Friday, August 6th, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Covid-19 restrictions apply at all times with numbers limited to 50. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed at www.sligocathedral.ie. Stephen Grist Dorset House, Farnham Street, Cavan Town and late of Poole, Dorset, England. Beloved husband of Angie and dear father of Jamie, Kylee and Duane, cherished grandfather of Perrie and Corbin and great-grandfather of Maison and brother of Sean.

A private family funeral service will take place.

Eugene Reynolds

Asanagh, Coolarty, Longford / Kilnaleck, Cavan

Eugene Reynolds, Asanagh, Coolarty, Co. Longford. Monday, August 2nd, in the loving care of David McCauley and Caroline Baxter's home.

Eugene will repose at their home, Tullyboy, Kilnaleck on Thursday evening (5th) from 6pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday (6th) to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eugene is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Brigid, brothers John and Jimmy.

May He Rest In Peace.

Please adhere to social distancing guidelines at all times, in line with current Government and HSE guidelines the funeral mass will be restricted to 50 people.

Ex Irish Army, Dublin & Cootehill. Peacefully at St Christopher's Hospice, Cavan. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Breege, sadly missed by his son Denis, daughter Paula, grandchildren Eoghan and Sean, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence tomorrow (Thursday) from 4pm for family, neighbours and friends. Removal on Friday to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Clifferna, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Lily Farnan (née Shortt)

The death has occurred of Lily Farnan (nee Shortt) 42 Carrickaduff Rd., Carnagh, Keady, Co. Armagh. Tuesday, August 3rd, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her family. Lily, predeceased by her husband Ned and infant sons Seamus, Edward and Martin. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, sons Oliver and Edward, daughters Rita, Briege (Mc Garrell) and Mary Mackle, daughters-in-law Dympna and Jinny, sons-in-law Noel and Peadar, sisters in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Lily’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Lily’s funeral cortège will travel from her residence on Thursday afternoon at 2:30pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church Keady via (Crossened Row and Church St, Keady) for Funeral Mass at 3pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Due to current restrictions on funeral ceremonies Lily will repose at her residence amongst her family and friends and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family.

Hughie Kearns

Meadow Lodge, Drumcoo Woods, Tydavnet, Monaghan

Peacefully on Wednesday, 4th August 2021, at home in the loving care of his devoted family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila and brothers Patsy and Tommy.

Hughie will be dearly missed by his loving family, daughters Adrienne and Julie, son Gerald, son-in-law Henry (Keenan), his adored grandchildren Adam, Helen, Michael and Jonathan, brother Jimmy and the entire family circle.

Reposing at home until removal on Friday, 6th August, at 1pm, arriving at St.Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St.Joseph's New Cemetery, Latlurcan, Monaghan.

Hughie's Funeral Cortege will travel via Tydavnet, Cappog, onto the Clones Rd Monaghan, passing the swimming pool and Dunnes Stores, Broad Rd and onto St.Macartans. Those who wish to line the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times. House and Funeral are private due to the current Covid 19 restrictions.
