Darkley, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Bernadette Kieran (née O'Reilly)

Carrickleck, Kingscourt, Meath / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Kieran, née O’Reilly, Carrickleck, Kingscourt, Co. Meath and formerly of The Commons, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, peacefully at the Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, 8th August 2021.

Predeceased by her infant son Shane and her sister Geraldine. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Pat, sons Barry & David, daughters-in-law Melissa & Sorcha, grandchildren Oliver, Clodagh and Áine. Sadly missed by her brother Gerard, sisters Una, Mary, Carmel & Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral mass will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernie’s Funeral Mass will be available to view online at 10am on Tuesday morning, 10th August, on the following link;

Bernie's funeral cortège will begin from her home on Tuesday morning, travelling via Church Street and Hall Street, Kingscourt to the Church of the Immaculate Conception from 9.30 am. Neighbours and friends are very welcome to line that route in a safe and socially distanced manner as a mark of respect.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Kingscourt Cancer Care.

Peter Murphy

Castlerahan, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Peacefully at Virginia Nursing Home after a short illness.

Predeceased by his parents John & Mary Murphy, brothers Patrick, Terry, John Joe, sister Bridget (Sr. Mary of the Presentation Convent, Kilcock).

Deeply regretted by his brother Benny, nephew John & his wife Sharon & their son Patrick, Co Clare, nephew Gerard, Kells, Co. Meath and nephew John, Co. Dublin, niece Patricia, Co. Dublin also his nieces & nephews in London.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Virginia, between 6-8pm on Monday the 9th of August, restricted to family & close friends only please. Funeral Mass at 12 noon, Tuesday 10th of August, St Mary's Church, Castlerahan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Numbers limited to 50 due to Covid Restrictions.

Margaret Anne Welby (née Rooney)

formerly Carrickaderry, Clontibret, Monaghan

Peacefully at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home, in her 101st year.

Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, family circle, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Carrickaderry from 5 p.m. on Sunday (08/08/2021)

Removal on Tuesday (10/08/2021) at 10.30 a.m. arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Clontibret for funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House and funeral private to family and close friends due to Covid 19 restrictions.
