Gerard (Gerry) Duffy

Drumbrath, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Gerard (Gerry) Duffy, Drumbrath, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughter, his many adored grandchildren, sister, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home Kilnaleck on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church, Drumkilly at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In line with the current Government and HSE guidelines the funeral mass will be restricted to 50 people, please adhere to social distancing at all times. House private to family, neighbours and friends. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, to the Dialysis Unit Cavan General/Irish Kidney Association c/o Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck.

Rita O'Donoghue (née McCaffrey)

Scotshouse, Monaghan / Ballyhaise, Cavan

Rita O'Donoghue (nee McCaffrey) London and formerly Drumcarn Ballyhaise and Annagheane, Scotshouse. Died, peacefully at home, in the loving care of her family on 17th July 2021, aged 89 years.

May She Rest in Peace.

Beloved wife of Fred and eldest daughter of the late Terry and Margaret McCaffrey. Predeceased by brothers PJ, Edmond and sisters Eithne and Patsy. Fondly remembered by surviving brothers Tim, Paul and sisters Margaret and Carmel. Loving mother to Maura, Margaret, Geraldine and Mark and sons and daughter in law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Requiem Mass on 12th August at 10am in Pius X R.C Church, London W10, followed by burial at Gunnersbury Cemetery.

Maura O'REILLY (née McNEIL)

Darkley, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter, Deeply regretted by her sons James, Peter and Brian, daughters Catherine and Veronica, grandchildren, daughter in law Kate, sons in law Patrick & Gary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

RIP.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in St Patrick's Church, Shercock and burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to HSE restrictions, Maura's funeral will be to private family and close friends with a limit of 50 people.

Susan McEneaney (née Coleman)

Doohamlet, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Susan McEneaney née Coleman, Clenanor, Doohamlet, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Monday 9th August 2021.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Harry. Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her daughter, Anne, son-in-law, Paul, grandchildren, Caolan, Rachel and Thomas, sister, Cissie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Susan will repose at her home among her family and friends.

There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects by lining the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, from her home as Susan’s funeral cortège travels to The Doohamlet Community Centre for requiem mass on Wednesday at 12noon continuing on afterwards to All Saints Cemetery, Doohamlet, where Susan will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Harry.

Following the HSE and Government Guidelines, there will be no public wake as Susan’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by her family.
