Sunny spells with scattered showers

Today will be a pleasant autumnal day with Met Éireann predicting temperatures just shy of 20 degrees across the provene.

The Irish Meteorological Service say it will be mostly cloudy today with patches of drizzle and mist. Some sunny spells will develop in the evening but there will also be scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees with light south to southeast breezes. The Solar UV Index for today will be moderate.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Patches of mist and fog will develop in light to moderate south to southeast or variable winds. It will be a mild night with temperatures not falling below 12 to 14 degrees

Tomorrow morning will be cloudy but largely dry apart from isolated light showers. Rain will develop in western areas later in the morning however, and will extend across Ulster through the rest of the day. A clearance will follow into the northwest later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees, coolest in the northwest, with light to moderate southerly winds.
