Josh 'drops' new EP ahead of headline events

Josh McClorey headlines Blessfest in Cavan's Blessing's Bar this Saturday

Cavan singer-songwriter Josh McClorey has just released a surprise new EP ahead of playing headline gigs at this weekend's Blessfest, and in Dublin late this year.

“To celebrate the show announcement, I'm dropping a surprise EP Sippin Bucky,” Josh posted on social media, with Blessfest at Cavan's Blessing's Bar taking place on Saturday, September 25, and his gig at The Workman's Club on December 17.

'Some days you’re workin 9 to 5 like my bad gurl Dolly P. But some days, you and the boys stick skins, smoke ends and sip fine grapes by Swellan Lake. Sippin Bucky is one of those days', croons Josh on his latest single, which is accompanied by artwork by fellow 'Swellan Boy' Paul McKiernan.

The Sippin Bucky EP is an incredible turnaround of productivity for the Cavan musician, who only earlier this year released his much-anticipated Blessings EP.

In the past 18 months the Swellan-native also released his first track as a solo-artist, a dulcet cover of The Beatles’ ‘Across The Universe’, under his side-project YABOYA, and in between that and now has been busy collaborating with a range of artists from Modfather Paul Weller to fellow rising star Yungblud.
