Edward Rudden

Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Edward Rudden, Cavan Road, Virginia and previous Birmingham and Claragh, Redhills. Peacefully, at St.Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia, Co. Cavan, on Tuesday the 28th of September 2021. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy, brothers and sisters.Sadly missed by his niece Claire Bannon, nephew Philip Maguire, grandnephews, grandniece, great-grandnephew, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Matthew's funeral home, Bailieboro Road, Virginia, on Wednesday, 29th of September, from 7-8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 3.30pm in Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, burial afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killoughter, Redhills arriving at 5pm approximately.

Josephine (Jo) DOHERTY (née Connolly)

Leopardstown, Dublin / Mount Merrion, Dublin / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

Passed away very peacefully, following a long illness, in the incredible care of Kiltipper Woods Care Centre on 28.09.21. Late of Kilanny (Carrickmacross), Leopardstown and Mount Merrion. Predeceased by her beloved husband Malachy. She will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Janet (Gray), son Dermot, son-in-law Derek, daughter-in-law Lara and her brother Paddy and sister-in-law Mary. Also, by her cherished grandchildren Luc, Jake, William, Rebecca, Anna and James. Predeceased by her brothers Conor, Neil and Dermot, and her sister Noreen Jennings. Jo will be missed by her family and friends, nephews and nieces and she will be remembered for her quiet, gentle, loving and giving nature.

Rest in Peace.

Removal on Friday morning (October 1st) The Church of Saint Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
