Teresa Cooney

Clifferna, Stradone, Cavan / Milltown, Dublin

Suddenly at her residence. Dear sister of Brennie, Packie, Patricia, Gabriel and Declan. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Noeleen, Stephaine and Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Due to Covid regulations the house is strictly private please.

Behey, Stradone, Cavan

Suddenly, at his residence. Predeceased by his parents and his brother Sean. Deeply regretted by his loving brother EP (Manchester), sisters Marie (Dublin) and Kathleen O' Neill (Ballyconnell), brother-in-law Aodhagan, sister-in-law Helen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relations and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Tuesday from 5.30pm, concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Brendan (Benny) Mc Donald

Drogheda, Louth / Cavan

Brendan (Benny) Mc Donald, Newtown Meadows, Termonfeckin Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of County Cavan, 24th September 2021. Suddenly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, aged 58 years. Brendan, pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Andy. Sadly missed by his brothers Joe, Eddie, Peter and Gerard, sisters Mary, Kathleen, Margaret, Collette and Monica, daughter Nicole, step mother Rita, grandchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law, good friend Ann Marie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda on Wednesday 29th September from 6pm to 8pm with social distancing to be observed at all times. Removal on Thursday morning to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda at 11am arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Newtown Cross Lawn, Cemetery.

Please follow government guidelines regarding Church numbers attending funerals (50% Church capacity) and continue to wear masks and observe social distancing around the Church and Cemetery.

Michael MC PHILLIPS

16 Lisdrumskeagh, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully, at his residence. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa, sons, Michael and James, daughters, Anne and Geraldine, grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Alan, Emma, Dylan and Caitlan, sister Nora, son-in-law PJ, sisters-in-law, Winnie, May and Claire, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence with removal on Wednesday afternoon to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Shercock, for Funeral Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to HSE restrictions funeral and wake will be for family and friends only. Anybody wishing to pay their respects may do so by lining the route, while complying with social distance.

Sean McCabe

Tallaght, Dublin / Belgard, Dublin / Carrickaboy, Cavan

McCabe, Sean (Belgard Heights and formerly of Drumcrow, Carrickaboy, Cavan) 25th September 2021 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Bridie and loving dad to Conor and Fiona. Sean will be so dearly missed by his loving family, brother Gene, sister Mary, brother-in-law Paddy, sisters-in-law Sari and Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his large circle of friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Tallaght Funeral Home, on Wednesday afternoon (29th September) between 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm for family and friends. Removal on Thursday morning (30th September) to The Church of St Mark, Springfield, Tallaght, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am, followed by committal service in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Alice Sheridan (née Lynch)

Dungimmon, Mountnugent, Cavan / Meath

Alice Sheridan (nee Lynch), Dungimmon, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan. Aged 89 years. 27/09/21. Peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Hugh, sisters May, Bridget, Claire and Kate, brother Tommy, grandsons Baby Jason and Baby Harry. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Marie, sons Hugh, James, Martin and Dermot, grandchildren Aoife, Michael, Thomas, Luca, Harry and Suzanne, son-in-law Tommy, daughters-in-law Nicole and Alison, sister Annetta McHugh (Dunboyne), niece, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gibney’s Funeral Home, Oldcastle on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Removal from her residence for funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in Ss. Brigid & Fiach’s Church, Ballinacree. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Strict Covid Restrictions will be in place at all times. The Funeral attendance will be limited to 50% of Church capacity.

Peacefully, at his residence. Predeceased by his brothers Tommie, Phil, Kevin, Pat and Mick, sisters, Annie, Rose, Mary and Elizabeth. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence with removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at St Anne's Church, Killann, for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery, Baileborough. Due to HSE restrictions funeral and wake will be for family and friends. Anyone wishing to pay their respects may do so by lining the route while maintaining social distance.

Eileen Carolan (née Duffy)

42 Bree, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Eileen Carolan (nee Duffy), 42 Bree, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday, September 27th, following a short illness at her home. Eileen, predeceased by her husband Frank, brother Peter and his wife Dawn. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her brother Tom, sister Mary and Kevin, nieces, nephews, close friend Bridie and her family, neighbours and friends.

May Eileen's Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

Eileen will repose at her home, among her family and friends, from this Monday, at 7pm, until removal at 6.40pm on Tuesday evening (driving) to arrive at St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

In accordance with most recent government guidelines the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%.
