Additional permanent accommodation for Corliss National School near Killeshandra has been approved.

The new accommodation will consist of an additional classroom with en-suite toilet and a special education teaching room with en-suite bathroom facilities.

Confirmation of the investment was provided by Norma Foley TD, Minister for Education, to local Fianna Fail TD, Brendan Smith.

“I compliment the Principal and staff and the Board of Management on progressing this application and this new accommodation will enhance considerably the school facilities,” said Deputy Smith.

“I wish all the school community well with this project,” he stated.
