Multi award winning crèche service extends to Ballyjamesduff

Little Friends Crèche and Montessori has added to its Cavan Town Pre-school and has now opened a new full day service on the Oldcastle Road in Ballyjamesduff.

They cater for children aged from one to five years and are registered on the NCS and ECCE schemes. The facility is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.

Parents are crying out for full day care services in County Cavan according to the proprietors of Little Friends Crèche and Montessori, Teresa and Barry Leddy, who identified a fantastic opportunity to open a crèche within walking distance of Ballyjamesduff Town.

They will be joined in this venture by Sarah Crowley, who will be managing the service. Teresa and Sarah have worked side by side with each other for the last nine years in Cavan, and between them they have vast experience of running a quality early years service. Their popular Cavan service has won two major awards in the early years industry and has been running for 14 years.

Their goal is to value the ability, individuality and background of all children by providing opportunities for the children to reach their full potential as active learners.

The environment is rich with toys and resources that will encourage their overall development. The indoor areas have interest spaces, that promote social skills and emotional skills as well as giving various play opportunities.

The outdoor area is rich in natural resources and will help the children to gain a belief and confidence in their own abilities.

“We also have a well-equipped sensory room, where all children, not just those with an additional need, can take time out to relax and unwind,” said Sarah Crowley.

Little Friends Crèche and Montessori currently has vacancies in their wobbler, toddler and ECCE rooms, on a sessional, part time or full time basis.
