Drug seizures in West Cavan

Operation was in reaction to concerns raised in the community

Local gardaí have arrested a number of people over the past week in relation to the discovery of drugs follows stop-and-searches carried out in the West Cavan area.

The standard operation is in reaction to concerns raised in the community of late.

Gardaí stopped up to half a dozen persons where small amounts of drugs were seized.
