Rain with sunny spells

Rain this morning in east Ulster will soon clear as lingering mist or fog patches also lift, say Met Éireann. Brighter weather with sunny spells will become widespread through the morning, with scattered showers following too. Showers will turn heavier and merge to longer spells of rain later in the day. Highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.

Early tonight there will be heavy showers or longer spells of rain. Long dry and clear spells will develop overnight with showers retreating to west Ulster. Some mist or fog will form under clearer skies. Turning chilly with lowest temperatures of 2 to 5 degrees and light southerly winds.

Tomorrow

Saturday will have sunny spells and scattered showers, showers mainly in west Ulster with mostly dry weather further east. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees. Light to moderate southwest breezes.
