Wednesday 10th November 2021, peacefully in the care of her family and staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Cavan

Jimmy Carolan, Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 9th November 2021, suddenly, but peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father James. Sadly missed by his sons Jamie and Jack, their mother Kate, mother Rita, sisters Deirdre (Noel), Imelda, Mairead (Declan), Roisin (Bernard), nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon at 1.40pm to arrive at St. Anne's Church for funeral Mass at 2pm, with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. You can view the mass live on https://www.churchservices.tv/stannesbailieborough

Bridget Cornyn

Moneenterriff, Glangevlin, Cavan

Bridget Cornyn, Moneenterriff, Glangevlin, Co Cavan. Peacefully, at St Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon. Predeceased by her husband Paddy and grandson Padraig. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children Margaret, Seamus and Maureen, sons & daughter in law, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Bridget will be reposing at St. Patrick’s Community Hospital Chapel on Wednesday from 3pm - 5.30pm, with removal to The Immaculate Conception Church, Doobally, for 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only.

Frank Mc Donagh, 65 Highfield Rd, Cavan Town, Tuesday, November 9th 2021, peacefully at his home, in the loving care of his family.

Beloved husband of the late Anna Mc Donagh & brother of the late Liam, Bob & Jim. Sadly missed by his heart broken daughters Belinda, Martina & Karen, sons in law Gabriel, Martin & Mark, his adored grandchildren Zoe, Eimear, Becky, Brandon, Ronan & Mikey, his sisters Nancy, Mai & Lilly, brother Patsy, brothers in law Richie, John Joe & Kevin, nephews, nieces, good neighbours, all his extended family & many friends.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm. House private to family at all other times. Frank's remains will leave his home on Friday morning at 11am, travelling via Wolfe Tone St (Barrack Hill), to arrive at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan, for funeral Mass at 11.30am. A private cremation will take place afterwards. No flowers, please, donations, in lieu, to The Palliative Care Unit, Cavan General Hospital.

James (JJ) Smith, formerly London. Who passed away peacefully in a London Hospital on Tuesday 2nd November. Sadly missed by his loving wife Rosaleen, son James, daughter Elizabeth, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Terry and Bernard, sisters Rose, Maureen, Bridget, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) McBride, 25 Mulladuff, Smithborough, Co Monaghan, formerly of Derrynoose, Co Armagh, Thursday, 4th November 2021, unexpectedly abroad. Cherished husband of Mary and adored father of Michael, Emma and Jack. Mickey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, sons, heartbroken parents Kathleen and Francis, sisters Bernie and Mary, brothers Gerry, Paddy, Francis, Sean and Kieran, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

Brigid Murphy (née Duffy)

Drumcatton, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brigid Murphy (née Duffy), Drumcatton, Inniskeen, peacefully, at home surrounded by loving family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by husband Patsy, daughters Yvonne (Murray), Patricia (Conlon), sons Anthony and Eamon, sons-in-law Peter and Paul, daughters-in-law Paula and Edwina and her cherished grandchildren Alan, Mark, Nicola, Aaron, Andrew, Aoife, Ciara, Oísin, Fionn and great-granddaughter Robyn. Predeceased by parents, brother Peter and sisters Rose, May, Maggie and Ann. Deeply regretted by sister Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Brigid by being present on route, socially distanced, as Brigid is brought from her home in Drumcatton at 2.00 pm, via Annagerril, Oghill Cross, Shancoduff, Ednamoe, to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen and afterwards, via Ednamoe, Dumnalive Hill Road, Drumcatton pump, to St Anne’s Cemetery.

Restriction on numbers attending church have been lifted, it is still advised to social distance, wear a face mask and no shaking of hands, thank you again for your cooperation.

The family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support during this difficult time.

Kathleen Agnew (née Collins)

The death has occurred of Kathleen Agnew (nee Collins), Barraghy, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Tuesday, November 9th 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, peacefully after a short illness. Predeceased by her parents Owen and Katie, sister Margaret and angel grandson Tiarnan. Kathleen, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, husband Patsy, son Pádraig, daughter Cáit (Markey), daughter in-law Marie, son in-law Thomas, her cherished grandchildren Caoimhe, Tómas, Laura, Clodagh and Síofra, sisters Rose Devane and AnnaMay Clarke, brothers in-law Tim, Tommy and Nicholas, sister in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Kathleen will repose at her home among her family, neighbours and friends from 2pm tomorrow, Wednesday, until removal on Friday morning, November 12th 2021, at 10:40am to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family on Friday morning and please adhere to social distancing guidelines as set out by the HSE and the Government while attending Kathleen’s wake and funeral.
