Ethel Hudson (née Brown)

Ethel Hudson (née Browne) The Moate House, Corravoggy, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital on Wednesday, 10th November, 2021, in the loving care of her family and hospital staff, dearly beloved wife of Jack; sadly missed by her loving children Ken (Yvonne), Norman (Wendy), Gillian (Robert), Richard (Elizabeth), Ally (Evelyn), her brother Ernest ( Yorkshire), brother-in-law Victor and wife Ann and brother-in-law Cyril (London), her adored grandchildren Craig, Stephen, Mark, Vanessa, Elaine, David, Shannon, Robert, Darragh, Andrew, Adam, Jonathon, Rebecca, Abby and Daniel, her adored great-grandchildren, Max, Holly, Dylan, Noah, Harry and also all her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Resting at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from her family home, The Moate House on Friday afternoon at 1.30pm to arrive at Drung Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm and burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Medical Ward 1, Cavan General Hospital c/o Freddie Kettyle, Funeral Director or any family member.

PJ Liggan, 7 Beckscourt Manor, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died November 10th 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son Shane. Sadly missed by his wife Kay, son Thomas (Julie), daughters Joan (Pascal), Catriona (Paul), Noelle (Declan) & Sylvia (JP), grandchildren Christophe, Luke, Christy, Gregory, Eleanor, Tommie, Paul, Ryan, Ben, Ciaran, Sean & Caoilfhionn, brothers Tom, Jim, Phil and Aidan, sisters Theresa, Betty, Sheila and Roisin, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday afternoon at 1.40pm from his residence via Thomas St., Main St., and Anne St., to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 2pm with burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery.

McCABE, Peter (Retired Garda Sergeant, Lucan, County Dublin, formerly Tierworker, Bailieboro / Kells) November 9th 2021 Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Griffeen Valley Nursing Home, Lucan. Beloved husband of Maeve, dear Father of Niall, Sharon and Michelle and a devoted Grandad of Rachel, Molly, Niamh, Orlaith, Lydia, Charlie and Erin. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Kevin and Bob, daughter-in-law Tracey, sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Friday evening (Nov. 12th) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker on Saturday morning (Nov. 13th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. Michael (Mickey) McBride

25 Mulladuff, Smithborough, Monaghan, H18 EW65 / Derrynoose, Armagh

Michael (Mickey) McBride

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) McBride, 25 Mulladuff, Smithborough, Co.Monaghan, formerly of Derrynoose, Co Armagh, Thursday, 4th November 2021, unexpectedly abroad. Cherished husband of Mary and adored father of Michael, Emma and Jack. Mickey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, sons, heartbroken parents Kathleen and Francis, sisters Bernie and Mary, brothers Gerry, Paddy, Francis, Sean and Kieran, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

Mickey will repose at the family home tomorrow, Thursday, and again Friday, with removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St Mary's Chapel, Magherarney, for 11am funeral Mass. Brigid Murphy (née Duffy)

Drumcatton, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Brigid Murphy (née Duffy), Drumcatton, Inniskeen, peacefully, at home surrounded by loving family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by husband Patsy, daughters Yvonne (Murray), Patricia (Conlon), sons Anthony and Eamon, sons-in-law Peter and Paul, daughters-in-law Paula and Edwina and her cherished grandchildren Alan, Mark, Nicola, Aaron, Andrew, Aoife, Ciara, Oísin, Fionn and great-granddaughter Robyn. Predeceased by parents, brother Peter and sisters Rose, May, Maggie and Ann. Deeply regretted by sister Kathleen, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Brigid by being present on route, socially distanced, as Brigid is brought from her home in Drumcatton at 2.00 pm, via Annagerril, Oghill Cross, Shancoduff, Ednamoe, to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen and afterwards, via Ednamoe, Dumnalive Hill Road, Drumcatton pump, to St Anne’s Cemetery.

Restriction on numbers attending church have been lifted, it is still advised to social distance, wear a face mask and no shaking of hands, thank you again for your cooperation.

The family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support during this difficult time.

Margaret Plummer (née McKenna)

The death has occurred of Margaret Plummer (nee McKenna), 17 Black Island View, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on Tuesday 9th of November. Predeceased by her parents, Con and Mary Mc Kenna, sisters Nancy, Kathleen, Patricia and Maureen, brothers Con, Brian and Gerry and grandnephew Jody. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Seán, sons Philip and Seán, daughter-in-law Mandy and partner Celina, grandchildren Kyle, Cynthia, Natasha, Ethan, Bobby, Liam and Ella, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends. A special mention to her good friends Mary Murphy and Sharon Cumiskey,

Remains leaving her residence on Friday morning at 10:25am on foot to arrive at St Mary's Church, Castleblayney for 11am Funeral Mass and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
