Cold spell to continue

The last few days of November will continue with the wintery theme, but things should pick up mid week. Met Éireann say it will remain cold on Sunday with highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees Celsius, coldest in the east. Dull and damp in the morning with scattered outbreaks of rain, and possible sleet in the early morning. However, it will brighten up by afternoon with sunny spells developing.

Mainly dry at first tonight with clear spells. Becoming cloudy overnight with patchy light rain developing in the west, spreading eastwards later. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +1 degrees Celsius, coldest in the east. Some frost and ice too.

Temperatures will return to more near normal tomorrow Monday with further patchy outbreaks of rain, mainly occurring early on. Generally cloudy to begin with some sunny spells later. Highest temperatures will range 9 to 11 degrees Celsius, in mostly moderate westerly breezes.
