Foster’s Pharmacy is a long-established healthcare business serving the community for over 50 years. While the dispensary is the focal point of the pharmacy at Main Street, Arva, the business offers a range of products and services.
Leah O’Donnell is the pharmacy manager and tells how Foster’s Pharmacy prides itself on giving customers an impressive selection of Christmas present options: “We are having a customer appreciation weekend this Friday (December 3) and Saturday (December 4). We are offering customers 20% off, so it is a great opportunity for people to stock up on Christmas gifts for loved ones.”
The festive shopper can chose from skincare staples like cleansers and moisturisers or more exclusive body products as a gift for their loved ones or a treat for themselves. Leah says there is an exhaustive list of products including Sculpted by Aimee, the award-winning makeup brand from Aimee Connolly and the Avène skincare range.
As a pharmacy, Foster’s realises the importance of providing simple, yet significant, interventions to make a difference in the community they serve. Leah says the challenges presented by the last couple of years have called for changes in the way they deal with customers: “We offer a free delivery service for patients deemed to be vulnerable and work with those with health conditions, spending time to understand their needs. We have many aids instore, which allow for increased independence in the home - easy grabbers, pill organiser boxes, opening grips, blood pressures monitors and walking aids, to name a few.”
Leah extended the greeting of the season to all customers: “All our staff have put in a great efforts through this difficult period for which we are extremely grateful. I would like to thank our customers for their understanding and support over the last year. We wish all our patrons a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2022.”
