Michael Gaynor, butcher, ready to meet all your Christmas requirements and orders are now being taken for turkeys, beef, ham, lamb and geese.

Dinner is served!

Thomas Gaynor & Sons butchers are guaranteed to keep you at the table this Christmas with fresh Irish produce.

“Everything is local, we kill all in our own abattoir,” owner Michael Gaynor assured.

Michael reported the business has “come back up better than ever” since the last lockdown.

“People are eating at home more,” he reasoned.

Christmas orders commenced on November 22 and will finish on December 20.

Michael has noticed a lot of the younger generation opting for turkey breasts as opposed to getting a smaller bird.

“The younger generation wouldn’t cook the big turkey like the older generation,” he said.

“People that want a big turkey still want a big turkey,” said Michael.

When you place an order at Thomas Gaynor & Sons, your name is automatically entered into a draw to be in with the chance of winning a €25 meat voucher. The winner is picked out on Christmas eve.

“The first five names that come out win,” Michael explained, detailing they hold the draw “just to show we appreciate people".

The butchers will be open Monday to Thursday from 7am to 7pm during Christmas week and 7am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. Orders can be placed by calling 049-4337844 or on 087-9399510.

Michael urged people to “keep safe” this Christmas and sent his best wishes for the new year.
