Dermot Donegan, Mollina, Spain and formerly of 7 The Fairgreen, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan and Dublin 5 – 15th December 2021 in Antequera Hospital, Spain; predeceased by his loving wife Teresa. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter Jennifer and son Derek, stepsons Damian, Graham and Mark ,stepdaughters Leandra, Samantha and Courtney, sister Deirdre, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

May Dermot rest in peace.

Cremation will take place in Spain and his ashes will be laid to rest with Teresa in Baltinglass Cemetery at a later date.

Catherine Mahony (née Mallon)

Donabate Village, Donabate, Dublin / Bailieborough, Cavan

Catherine Mahony (nee Mallon) Donabate Village, Co. Dublin and formerly Druminespic, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Died 15th Dec. 2021, after a short illness at St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown. Predeceased by her father Owen, mother Margaret and brother Patrick. Deeply loved and regretted by husband Tom, sister Bernadette, nieces Aoife and Lian, brothers-in-law Patrick and Brian, sisters-in-law Anna, Catherina, Stephanie, Lucy, Bernadette and her many cousins, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her residence in Donabate Village Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm and again Friday evening in Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough from 5pm to 8pm. Removal Saturday morning at 10.15am via Cavan Road, Gola Cross, past the Mallon residence in Druminespic to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11am. John McElhinney

Greencastle, Donegal / Redhills, Cavan

The death has occurred peacefully at his home of John McElhinney (retired Garda) of Greencastle, Co. Donegal and formerly of Redhills, Co. Cavan, on the 13th December 2021. Dearly loved dad of Shane, Conor, Clare, Ciara and Cormac, wife Mary, Brothers Eddie, Mark, Seamus and the late Liam. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family and his many friends.

John's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 17th December, at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Ballybrack, Moville Co. Donegal followed by primordial cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Sheila McGourty (nee McManus) Gortnaleg, Blacklion, Co. Cavan peacefully at home. Predeceased by her husband Tommy; sadly missed by her loving sons Aiden & Francis her daughter Mary, adored grandchildren Shane, Adelle, Pauric & Marie, great-grandchildren Finn, Ellie & Lily, her sisters Rita, Eilish and brother Francie, extended family neighbours and many friends.

Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Killinagh Blacklion for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial afterwards in Killinagh Cemetery.

Michael Crean, Fern Hill Avenue, Walkinstown, Dublin 12 and late Lower Main Street, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, died 14th Dec 2021, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Marlay Nursing Home, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Kathleen. Sadly missed by his sister Viviene, niece Tara, nephew Alastair, relatives and his many friends.
