Andy Feeney

Lower Main Street, Killeshandra, Cavan

Andy Feeney, Lower Main Street, Killeshandra, County Cavan, 6th January 2022, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Annie and brothers Paddy and Jim, very deeply regretted by his sons Sean and Declan, daughter-in-law Úna, his brother John (Manorhamilton), grandchildren Laura, Niamh and Órla, Rachel and Conor, great-granddaughter Mia and great-grandson Páidí, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his home between 5pm and 8pm on Friday, 7th January, for family, neighbours and close friends. Removal on Saturday morning at 11.30am to St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Jimmy Halton

20 Griffith Park, Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Jimmy Halton 20 Griffith Park, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. January 6th 2022 in his 101st year peacefully in the loving care of his family at his home. Predeceased by his loving wife Mollie, grandson Colin, grand-daughter Irene, daughters-in-law Mary and Trudy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Mary and Colette, sons Paddy, Noel, Jim, Chris and John, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, 25 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home Cootehill this Friday evening from 5 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Due to Government and HSE restrictions social distancing will have to be adhered also. Wear face coverings and no shaking of hands please.

Funeral cortege will leave the Halton home Griffith Park Cootehill on Saturday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Cootehill for 12 noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery Cootehill.

Gerry Mc Caul, Cherryvale, Bay Estate, Dundalk and formerly of Drumliffe, Co Cavan. Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 6th January 2022. Gerry, beloved husband of the late Dettie nee Murray dear father of Niall, Karina and the late Gary, loving grandad of Liana, Amy, Jamie, Shane, Darren, Ryan, and Dylan, great-grandchildren Anna and Tom and father in law of Sharon, Barbara and the late Andy. Gerry will be sadly missed by his son, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

BYRNE (née Finnegan) Mary (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly Bray and Keeneraboy, Monaghan) died 4th January 2022, peacefully, in her 97th year, in the loving care of Belmont Nursing Home, Stillorgan. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy and loving mother of Anne, Maeve, Maria and Niall. Sadly missed by her family, sons-in-law Fran and Donal, Niall’s partner Leanne, Mary’s much loved 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Daly, Erdington, Birmingham & formerly Dunaree, Lisdoonan, peacefully after a short illness at Good Hope Hospital, Birmingham Friday 3rd December 2021. Predeceased by his parents Owen and Rose and his brother Mickey. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters Lily Corrigan, Maura Hanley, Dymphna Daly, brother Cormac, sister-in-law Mary-Rita, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Margaret Hamill Dromore, Inniskeen, Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.

Dear daughter of the late Mary and James Hamill Dromore. Cherished Mother of Thomas, Grandmother of Eloise, Ryan and Mother in law of Barbara. Much loved sister of Geraldine, Eilish and Peadar. Predeceased by sisters and brother May Cunningham, Ann and Seamus Hamill. Deeply regretted by sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and to remember Margaret by being present on route, socially distanced, on Monday 10th January as Margaret is brought from her residence via Kednaminsha, Mucker, Muff To the Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass and afterwards burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Inniskeen.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Patsy) McArdle, Knockagolis, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.

Thursday 6th January 2022, at his home.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary-Ellen.

Patsy is lovingly missed by his devoted life partner Patricia, his daughter Marie (McCabe) her mother Bernadette, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Brian, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Patsy’s wake will be strictly private. In keeping with Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a family funeral will take place for Patsy.
