It is with regret that we note the following deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie

Kathleen Forde (née Keaney)

Corlisbannon, Dowra, Cavan

The death has occurred of Kathleen Forde (nee Keaney), Corlisbannon, Dowra, Co. Cavan peacefully at St. Patrick's Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim.

Deeply regretted by her loving son Thomas and his fiancee Pauline, brothers Benny and Hugh, sisters Annie and Ellen, nieces , nephews, neighbours and friends.

Remains arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra at 7pm on Tuesday evening via The Metal Bridge. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery.

Please adhere to Government guidelines regarding hand shaking, wearing face masks and social distancing. Walk through only in the church.

Catherine (Kathleen) Kelly (née Brady)

Drummartin, Dundrum, Dublin / Kilcogy, Cavan / Offaly

KELLY - Catherine (Kathleen) née Brady , late of Drummartin, Dundrum, Dublin 14 and formerly of Cloncovid, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan, January 8th, 2022, (peacefully) in her 100th year, in the gentle care of Eliza Lodge,Banagher, Co. Offaly. Beloved wife of the late Desmond, loving mother of Karl, Mary Byrne, (Birr) and Gerald, sadly missed by her son-in-law Micheal, daughters-in-law; Clare and Liz, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, brother Eddie, sister Bridie (McEnroe),nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, on Wednesday morning at 9.45am for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery, Dublin at 1.30pm.

John Cunningham

4 Drumbear, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of John Cunningham, 4 Drumbear, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Clones, Co Monaghan, 9th January peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his brothers Philip and Charlie.

John will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Monica, daughters Annette, Denise and Louise, son Shane, daughter-in-law Sarah, sons-in-law, Kevin, Brian and Gary, grandchildren, Lauren, Emma, Pearce, Rian, Ellen, Grace, Aoibhe, Charlie, Joe and Billy, his brother Atty(Clones), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved him.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

John will be resting at the family home, 4 Drumbear (H18HH51) tomorrow Tuesday 11th from 4pm to 8pm. John's Funeral Mass takes place on Wednesday 12th January at 11am in St Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan. Burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery Monaghan.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Mater Foundation to support the Nephrology Dept and fund towards the Comfort Care Family Suite C/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss or any family member.
