Eight local properties are to go under the hammer in an online auction next week.
Smith property is bringing the properties to auction on January 20, unless previously sold.
Among the lots is part of the former schoolhouse in Gowna. Measuring 62 sq m, it’s said to have potential for residential or commercial uses. Located in Gowna village, it’s in need of refurbishment. It has a minimum price of €45,000.
Also going to auction is a two-bed house outside Bailieborough, with what are described as “excellent views and access to Skeagh Lake”.
The 160 sq m two-bed house is located on a 1.04 acre site. The house, which is in need of completion, has a price of €125,000.
For at least €35,000 you could get your hands on the former Doocarrick Post Office outside Cootehill. The four-bed farm cottage is in need of refurbishment. A number of other properties are also going for auction next week. These include a traditional four-bed house outside Lough Gowna with a minimum price of €150,000; a three bed semi-d in Woodview, Ballyjamesduff with a price of €80,000, a two-bed bungalow outside Ballyjamesduff for €90,000 and a three-bed semi-d in Drumgola Wood in Cavan Town for €135,000.
