Hannah Moore (née Mulligan)

Drumgora, Stradone, Cavan

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John. Sadly missed by her loving children Anthony, John and Susan, brother Jim, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, tomorrow Tuesday from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday to arrive at St. Dympna's Church, Upper Lavey, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please.

Eugene (Gene) McArdle

Main Street, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Eugene (Gene) McArdle, late of McArdle Engineering, Main Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan peacefully in his 91st year at Mullinahinch Nursing Home, Monaghan, Monday 17th January 2022. Predeceased by his wife Letitia. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family Kathleen, Anne and Ronald, grandchildren Louise, Nicole and Shaun, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653) on Tuesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

House private please.

Aughnacloy, Smithborough, Monaghan

The death has occurred of John Connolly Aughnacloy, Smithboro, Co. Monaghan. Sunday 16th January peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving and caring family.

Predeceased by his daughter Maura, brothers Jim, Felix, Mickey and his sister Rose. Sadly missed by his loving wife Eilish, sons Patrick & Martin, daughters Margaret, Ann, Kathleen, Josephine & Elizabeth, his sisters Mary Kate & Peggy, grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

John's remains will repose at his residence, private to family and friends only please. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Magherarney, Smithboro; https://www.churchservices.tv/smithborough. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sean McConnell

Tullyraine, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sean McConnell, Tullyraine, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Roisin and his devoted son Francis, his brothers Pat, James, Michael and Brendan and his sisters, Mairead, Miriam and Dympna, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts Dympna and Lily, nephews, nieces, relatives, entire family circle and friends. Predeceased by his parents John and Ita, his sister Josephine, his father in law, Patrick and mother in law Mary, his brothers in law, Pat and Pat and his sister in law, Eileen and Geraldine.

Sean's remains will repose at Smyths Funeral Director, Ballybay on Monday, 17th January, from 4pm until 9pm.

House private to family, friends and neighbours on Tuesday, 18th January. Funeral mass at 11am on Wednesday, 19th January, at Sacred Heart Church, LoughEgish. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Donations to cancer charities.

As a mark of respect, McConnells of Ballytrain will remain closed until Thursday, 20th January.
