Its teachers are dedicated and committed to the holistic development of all students in our care. Whilst there is an emphasis on the academic, there is also a caring, learning environment, a tutor system, a guidance counsellor and a pastoral care team.

Many teachers give their free time to coach teams at every age group.

Despite the challenge posed by COVID-19, extra-curricular activities such as Junk Kouture, Gaming Club, Chess club and Ceili band are continuing to take place. Cnoc Mhuire’s students enter many national and regional competitions including Gaisce, One Good Idea/Green Schools/Angus Beef competition and the Credit Union Quiz.

Cnoc Mhuire is extremely proud of its sporting successes through the years winning many Vocational Schools and Leinster titles and culminating in an All-Ireland title win in March 2013. The school’s U16 and U19 Basketball teams have also reached the All-Ireland finals or play-offs on numerous occasions.
