Over 200 positions at virtual jobs fair

Major employers will seek to fill over 200 jobs through a virtual jobs fair on Wednesday, February 23.

The Local Enterprise Offices (LEO) of Cavan, Leitrim, and Longford are hosting the online event in association with the Upper Shannon Erne Future Economy Project (USEFE).

The partnership of the three LEO offices comes under the banner of the Upper Shannon Erne Future Economy Project, which is a partnership of all three local authorities and LEOs of Cavan, Leitrim and Longford, whose aims are to promote economic development across all three counties.

Over twenty large employers from the region will take part on the day, seeking to fill over 200 roles, with positions ranging from entry level to C-Suite, across a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, hospitality and social care.

The virtual platform will simulate a live jobs fair, where jobseekers can meet with the employers virtually, explore suitable vacancies and apply directly through the virtual platform on the day.

Marcella Rudden, Head of Enterprise, LEO Cavan, stated: “We understand the challenges at present to recruit skilled talent across all sectors of industry, and we hope that this initiative might help with large employers current and future recruitment drives."

The online event takes place from 10am – 3pm on Wednesday 23rd February 2022 and is free to register and take part.

All jobseekers who would like to take part must register at www.usefejobsfair.ie
