Gowna man missing in Netherlands

A Gowna native has been reported missing and his family are appealing for help to find him.

Edward Reilly (39) was last seen in the centre of Almere Buiten in the Netherlands on February 18.

He had been living in the country for a number of years but is originally from the Corfree area of Gowna in County Cavan.

Dutch police have launched a missing persons investigation and have published photos of Edward Reilly on social media.

Edward was out socialising with friends who say he left a bar after midnight.

It is thought he may have decided to walk home after failing to get a taxi.

Edward's sister has travelled to the Netherlands to help in the search.
