Cavan vs Derry semi shown live on TG4 platforms

TG4 broadcasts across its different viewing platforms TG4, TG4 Player App and Spórt TG4 YouTube channel

The EirGrid Under 20 Ulster football championship semi-finals between Cavan and Derry and Donegal and Tyrone, both throwing in at 8 p.m this Friday (April 8) will be shown live on television or on the Spórt TG4’s YouTube channel.

TG4 will show over 30 games live on television and on the Spórt TG4’s YouTube channel from the EirGrid Under 20 football championship and oneills.com Under 20 hurling championship in the coming months.

Coverage begins today (Wednesday) with three games on Spórt TG4’s YouTube channel, including the Mayo v Galway game from the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, Bekan, which throws in at 7 p.m.

Elsewhere tonight, the Munster hurling championship games between Limerick and Clare and Kerry and Tipperary will be covered live on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of a hugely successful first quarter for TG4’s GAA coverage.

TG4 broadcast 37 live GAA games across its different viewing platforms (TG4, TG4 Player App and Spórt TG4 YouTube channel) during the Allianz Leagues.

A total of 768,000 people saw at least one full match of GAA Beo on TG4 television during this time and the series had a reach of 1.56 million.

Details will be announced later in the month of TG4’s coverage of the Electric Ireland minor football and hurling championships and the TG4 Ladies Gaelic Football championships.
