Showery weather to continue

After a blustery day in Cavan yesterday the showers are to continue.

A blustery start this morning and cloudy too with scattered showers. The showers will gradually ease as they move south by this afternoon with some clear and sunny spells developing.

A cool northerly breeze will mean our highs will struggle to reach 7 to 9 degrees today.

TONIGHT

A cold but clear evening with one or two isolated showers but they will generally die out by night.

Clear skies and light winds overnight will allow our lows to drop below freezing with -2 to +2 degrees expected with a touch of frost in sheltered areas too.

TOMORROW

A clear but cold start for many with just a touch of cloud. More cloud will build later in the morning with isolated showers developing by the afternoon.

They will largely die out in the evening with long clear and dry spells developing. Northerly breezes will keep our temperatures a little cooler with highs of 6 to 9 degrees.
