April 11th 2022 suddenly at his residence.

Husband of the late Patricia.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son Colm, brothers John, Pat & Eugene, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in peace.

Removal on Thursday from Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan at 2 o'clock arriving at St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart via Bawnboy for Funeral Mass at 3 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Una Fitzsimons (née Campbell)

Bunnoe, Cavan

Una Fitzsimons, (nee Campbell), Edragole, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan. Died 11 April 2022, peacefully surrounded by her family at St James’ Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by her husband James.

Much loved mother of RoseMarie, Gerard, Deirdre and Finola.

Will be very sadly missed by her children, her daughter in law Caroline, her adored grandchildren Óníosa, Caolán, Éireann, James, Cathal, Grace and Katie, her brother in law Dessie and his wife Mena, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Seamus Kiernan

Claremont Court, Glasnevin, Dublin / Gowna, Cavan / Dring, Longford

Seamus Kiernan, 106 Claremont Court, Glasnevin, Dublin 11 and formerly of Cloonagh, Dring, Co. Longford. Sunday, April 10th 2022, peacefully at his residence. Deeply regretted by his brothers; John (England) and Martin (Loch Gowna), sisters Maureen (Dublin), Lizzie (Loch Gowna), sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Seamus rest in peace.

Reposing at his residence on Friday, 15th from 2 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 18th in St. Columba's Church, Mullinalaghta, Co Longford, N39EY17 at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in the local cemetery.

In keeping with government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, please refrain from handshaking and wear a face mask.

Bridget (Connie) Mc Cabe (née Connolly) beloved wife of the late Billy, John Paul Ave, Cavan April 12th, 2022. Peacefully at home in the loving care of her Family. Predeceased by her husband Billy, daughter Sarah, grandson William, parents Rose and Michael Connolly and her brother Sean. Sadly, missed by her loving daughters Valerie, Ann, sons James and Martin, son-in-law Eugene, daughter-in-law Majella, grandchildren Sarah, Margaret, Patrick, Marie, Conor, Jennifer, Sinead and Rosin, sisters Mrs Ann Mc Cabe, Mrs Christine Sweeney, brothers-in law Thomas and John, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home on Wednesday, 13th April 2022, from 5pm to 7pm. Walk through only, please wear a mask and no hand shaking. Funeral liturgy on Thursday at 2pm in the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan.

John McCague

The death has occurred of John McCague, Tullycroman, Monaghan, H18 H395. Monday, 11th April suddenly at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Annie. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Veronica, sons Patrick & Niall, daughter Laura and their partners, grandchildren, sisters Marian, Ann & Susan, brothers Martin & Eoin, extended family and friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

John's remains will repose at his residence on Wednesday. Funeral mass on Thursday at 2pm at St.Mary's Church, Urbleshanny, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to 'Crocus for Men' c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

Please note, there will be a shuttle bus in operation from Newgrove Industrial Estate. Family time on Thursday please.
