Suddenly at his home. Treasured son/stepson of Lorraine and Declan, David and Denise. Sadly missed by his family, bothers Lee, Daniel, Aiden, sister Hope, grandparents, aunts, uncles, relatives, friends and work colleagues.

Reposing Tuesday, 19th at Mathews Funeral Home Virginia (A82YV58) from 4.30 pm until 7.00 pm. Walk through only,no hand shaking please. Funeral Mass on Wednesday 20th at 3.00 pm in St Dympnas Church Upper Lavey. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cavan Sosad or any family member. House private at all times.

Friday April 15th, Suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved Husband and best friend of Margaret.

Reposing at Lakelands funeral home and Crematorium Dublin Road Cavan today Monday From 4.4.00pm until 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass in the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan on Tuesday April 19th at 11.00am with interment afterwards in Cullies Cemetery

Mary Shields (née Kieran)

Rathloghan, Kingscourt, Co. Meath

In her 91st year, peacefully, at her home, 17th April 2022.

Predeceased by her parents Emily & Anthony Kieran, husband Jimmy, son P.J. and daughter-in-law Aileen, sister Bridie, brothers Tommy, Peter, Tony & Lorcan. Deeply regretted by her daughters Catherine (Finnegan), Emma (Hickey), Maura, Martha (McGrory), Nuala (Shekleton), sons David, Jim, Anthony, Seán & Kieran. Sadly missed by her brother Paddy, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandson Gavin and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home (A82F622) on Tuesday from 2pm to 9pm. Mary’s funeral cortège will begin from her home on Wednesday morning (20th April) at 9.30am travelling to the Church of the Immaculate Conception for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Gertie Wallace (née Mitchell)

Main Street, Shercock, Cavan

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Fairlawns Nursing Home, Baileborough, in her 94th year, surrounded by her loving family. Gertie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children Cherry, David and Irene, son-in-law Leo, daughter-in-law Catherine, grandchildren, David, Patrick, Rachel, Aimee, Emer, Kyle and Fintan, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband Newton, sisters Florrie and Muriel, brothers Bobby and Charlie and son-in-law Thomas,

Easter Sunday, 17th April, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Dearly loved by his wife Íde and sons Odhrán & Oisín. Tony touched the lives of many family and friends and he will be sadly missed.

Tony's remains will repose at the family home, Brandum, Monaghan, H18 VC57, on Tuesday 19th April from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am at St.Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan; https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-macartans-cathedral-monaghan. Burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery.

Michael Mc Dermott

Abbey St, Clones, Co. Monaghan

Michael passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital, Drogheda Monday 18th April.

Michael will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Philomena (John Foy, Knockatallon), brothers Owen (Gusstina), Eddie (London), Jimmy (Mary) and Brendan (Philomena), sister-in-law Maura, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Michael.

Michael will repose at the residence of his brother Brendan and sister-in-law Philomena, Drumhillagh, Scotshouse, Clones (H23D438) tomorrow Tuesday and again Wednesday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm with removal on Thursday morning at approx 10.15am (21st April) to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. House private to family on Thursday Morning Please.
