Today will be “mostly dry with sunny spells” and just a slight chance of an isolated shower here or there, according to national forecaster Met Eireann.

However, cloud will increase in west Ulster later.

Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with a light to moderate south to southeast breeze.

Tonight meanwhile will bring clear spells and isolated light showers.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees with light to moderate east to southeast or variable winds.

The outlook for the rest of the week is much the same as today (Wednesday), with “mild and quite settled” conditions and low amounts of rainfall.
