Michael (Mick) Gillick

Greenfield Drive, Maynooth, Kildare / Killinkere, Cavan

Gillick, Michael (Mick), Greenfield Drive, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and late of Killinkere, Co. Cavan and retired Garda Sgt., April 26th 2022, peacefully at The Mater Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, children Sandra, Niall, Michelle and Mikey, son-in-law Johnny, daughters-in-law Elaine and Al, grandchildren Adam, Jack, Molly, Kate, Amy and Leah, sisters Mary and Nuala, brother Gerry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and his beloved little Bosco.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning at 10.45am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for 11.30am funeral mass, followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. John McQuaid

Coolartra, Clontibret, Monaghan, H18 XD32

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Susan and Thomas and his sister Lena. Remembered with love by his wife Mary, daughters Eleanor and Ann Marie, sister Bridget, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnephew, cousins, wider family circle, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday (27/04/2022) from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday (28/04/2022) from 12 noon until 8 p.m., subject to Covid 19 guidelines. House private at other times please. Removal on Friday (29/04/2022) at 10.15 a.m., arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Clontibret, for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Martin Murphy

Tattenclave, Stranooden, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Martin Murphy, Tattenclave, Stranooden, Co. Monaghan, Monday, April 25th, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Martin, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his parents Michael and Josie, brother John, sisters Carmel, Marie and Helena, sister in law Debs, brothers in law Colm and Rob, aunts, uncles, his cherished nieces and nephews Oisín, Jack, James, Molly, Maggie, Éabha and Daragh, cousins, the extended Murphy and Clerkin families, neighbours and many friends.

May Martin’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.

Martin will repose at his parents (Michael & Josie’s) residence Tattenclave, Stranooden, Co Monaghan (H18 P110) tomorrow, Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm. House private to family at other times, please. Removal on Thursday afternoon from the residence at 2.30pm to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Corcaghan, for funeral Mass at 3pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Crocus Cancer Support, Monaghan c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.

Please adhere to the current Government and HSE Covid guidelines while attending Martin’s wake and funeral.

Mary Nelson (née Shields)

Clover Hill, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Louth

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, after a short illness. Sadly missed by her husband Declan, sons Conor and Barry, Conor’s wife Sinéad, Barry’s partner David, grandchildren Kate and Susie, brother Brendan, sisters Roisin and Anne, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.
