Joan Brooks (née Keyes)

The death has occurred of Joan Brooks (née Keyes) Kiltynaskellan, Doogary, Killeshandra, Cavan and formerly Clonboyher, Corrawallen, Leitrim. Peacefully, at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Jim and much-loved mother of Ivan and Jason.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter-in-law Marina, grandchildren Molly, David and Eliza by her sister Evelyn, brother Cyril (Stella), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Resting at her residence on Monday, May 16 from 5pm to 9pm (walk through only, please). House private at all other times. Removal on Tuesday, May 17 to arrive to St Columba's parish church, Corrawallen, for funeral service at at 1pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Irish Cancer Society c/o Gorby Funeral Directors, Newtowngore.

John Carolan

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) Carolan, Greaghnadarragh, Mullagh, Cavan, May 13th 2022, died, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Survived and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, their sons John, Patrick, Rory and daughters Sinead and Bláthnaid; their partners Margie, Mark and Paul and adored grandchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, his neighbours and friends. John is predeceased by his parents Philly and Bridgit, sister and brothers.

Johnny will repose at family residence ( A82 TP89 ) from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022, and Sunday 2pm to 6pm on May 15, 2022. Family time thereafter. Removal from family residence on Monday, May 16, 2022, arriving for 11am Mass at St. Killian's Church, Mullagh, Cavan. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Phyllis Fegan

The death has occurred of Phyllis Fegan, Oldtown, Cavan, Tuesday, May 10, 2022, peacefully, at home. Beloved sister of the late Jim, Robbie, Doris and Masie. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Lily, Nan, Sarah (all England), Aileen (Dunleer), Bertha (Oldtown), all her nephews, nieces, good neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan, on Monday, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday to Cavan Parish Church for Funeral Service at 1pm, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium. No flowers, please, donations, in lieu, to The Restoration Fund, Cavan Parish Church c/o John or Philip Mc Mahon, Funeral Directors or any family member. House private at all times, please. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Dolores MacKenna

The death has occurred of Dolores MacKenna late of Fontabranda, Francis Street, Drogheda, Louth and Scotstown, Monaghan, peacefully at Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Drogheda.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Maura, her sister Maeve and her brothers Malachy, Aidan and Seamus. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.

Reposing at the premises of McElvaney Funeral Directors, Church Square, Monaghan from 9am on Monday, May 16 subject to Covid 19 guidelines.

Removal on Monday May 16 at 10.15am, arriving at St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanny for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on "Tydavnet Parish RC Churches" Facebook page.

Thomas (Tim) O'Rourke

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tim) O'Rourke Radrumskeane, Killanny, Carrickmacross, Monaghan 0n Saturday, May 14, 2022, in his 99th year. Peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Mullinahinch Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Mai.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his sisters Phyllis (Forde, USA) & Joan (McNally, Carrickmacross), his brother-in-law Oliver (Forde, USA), his sister-in-law Eileen (O'Rourke, Inniskeen), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

May he rest in peace.

Tim will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81D328, on Sunday, May 15, from 12noon until removal at 3:35pm driving via Radrumskeane to St. Enda's Church, Killanny arriving at 4pm. Tim's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
