Woodview, Bailieborough, Cavan

Fidel Alhambra, Woodview, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Died 20th May 2022 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Celestina, daughter Anne (Theou), sons Gibson (Chie) and Nico (Fatima), grandchildren Trinity, Patrick, Alexia and Kiel, sister Elvie, brother Benjamin, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Ireland and the Philippines.

Reposing at Elizabeth Ramil's residence Nolagh, Shercock Eircode A81KV61 from Saturday morning until removal Wednesday morning (via his residence in Woodview) to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11am. Fidel's family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of surgical one Oncology Unit and The Palliative Care Team at Cavan General Hospital.

Charlie Cartin

Murmod, Virginia, Cavan

The sudden death has occurred of Charlie Cartin, Murmod, Virginia, Cavan and formerly of Mill Hill, London.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridie (nee Duffy), his sons George and Nigel, sister Mary, granddaughter Isabel, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence in Murmod this Saturday and Sunday. Removal on Monday morning to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia for Funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Michael (Joe) Lee

''Glenveagh'' Stragelliffe, Cavan

Michael (Joe) Lee, Retired Garda Superintendent, Cavan / Monaghan District, "Glenveagh ", Stragelliffe, Cavan. Thursday, May 19th 2022, peacefully at home in the loving arms of his family. Predeceased by his dearest wife Rose and deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, Rosaleen (Andrew), Michael (Eileen), Noel (Frances), John (Mags), Caitríona (Martin) and Deirdre (Edward), his nineteen grandchildren and new great-grandchild. His sisters , Mary ( Athenry) and Ann (France ). A long life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Private reposal at his home for family, relatives, neighbours and close friends. Reposing in the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd., Cavan ( H12C821), on Saturday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. This will be a walk through only with no hand shaking and face masks to be worn please. Michael's remains will leave his home in Stragelliffe on Monday morning at 11.30am and will travel to St. Aidan's Church, Butlersbridge for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place afterwards in St.Aidan's Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live and the link will be posted when it's available. The Lee family would like to thank you all for your understanding and cooperation at this very difficult time.

Seamus McCabe

Carrickacromin, Mountain Lodge, Cootehill, Cavan

Seamus Mc Cabe late of Carrickacromin, Mountain Lodge, Cootehill, Co.Cavan.Died 20th May 2022, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents and sisters Mary Mc Adams (Caulfield) and Kathleen Hamill (Ballinode). Deeply regretted by his loving family, his sisters Peggy Magee (Carrickacromin), Barbara Alwell (Rocks Road, Kingscourt) and his brother Sean (London). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

May He Rest in Eternal Peace.

Reposing this Saturday evening at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough from 3pm to 6pm. Removal from his residence this Sunday afternoon to St.Patrick's Church, Carrickallen arriving at 2pm for Funeral Mass followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan. Please wear face masks and refrain from hand shaking.
