Terry McGovern, Breffni Crescent, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim and formerly Glangevlin, Co. Cavan. 22nd May 2022 (peacefully) at home after a short illness, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Edward and father-in-law John James (Glancy). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Maria, daughters Lisa Duignan (Drumshanbo) and Emily, sons Gary, Terry and Lee, son-in-law Alan, grandchildren Effie and Tommy, sisters Mary and Cait, mother-in-law Emily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, nephew, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Rest In Peace.

Terry will repose at his home on Tuesday 24th May from 3pm until 8pm.

Walk through only.

Terry's funeral cortege will leave his home on Wednesday morning at 11.15 o'clock to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carrick-on-Shannon for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 o'clock with burial afterwards to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his beloved wife Kay (nee Byrne), his cherished children, Brenda, Laura, Kilian, Caitriona, Siobhan and Sean, his 13 adored grandchildren, sons and daughters in law, Pat, Sinead, Aaron and James, and partners Wayne and Anita, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and his many customers.

Reposing at home, Main St, Mullagh on Monday May 23rd from 4pm to 8pm, (Family time thereafter, please) removal from his home on Tuesday morning May 24th at 10.30am to St. Kilian's Church, Mullagh for Requiem Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Noel Power

Drumullen, Farnham, Cavan

Noel Power, Drumullen, Farnham, Cavan, Sunday, May 22nd 2022, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Beloved son and only child of the late Violet and Paddy Power, Drumullen, Farnham. Noel will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his cousins, all his good neighbours, especially Liz, his work colleagues in Pauwels Trafo, all his relatives and many friends.

Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, (H12 C821) Farnham Road, Cavan on Tuesday evening, May 24th, from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 6.45pm, wear masks and no handshakes, and again on Wednesday from 1pm with Funeral Service at 1.45pm followed by removal to Lakelands Crematorium, again, please wear masks and no handshaking, please.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Much loved wife of James and loving mother to Marie, Martin and Christina. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, son and daughters, daughter in law Laura, sons in law Séan and Jimmy, her cherished grandchildren Conor, Jake, Ava, Danny, Aidan, Emily and Rebecca, her sister Maura (Brady), her brothers Tom, Peter and Oliver, her sisters in law Kathleen (Holland) and Patricia (Stanley), her brother in law John, nieces, nephews, her neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Remains reposing at Matthews Funeral Home (A82YV58) on Tuesday evening from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock - walk through only. Removal to St. Matthews Church Maghera on Wednesday arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Pauline Rooney (née Farrell)

Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred Pauline Rooney née Farrell, Corracloughan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Saturday 21st May 2022. Predeceased by her husband Liam and son-in-law Stephen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Helen and Aileen, son Aidan, grandchildren, brothers Rory and Des, sister Shirley, Uncle Brendan Duffy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, extended family, and friends.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday from 4 pm to 9 pm, house private at all other times, please. Removal on Thursday morning at 10:40 arriving to Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem Mass at 11 am with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery where Pauline will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Liam.

The death has occurred of Patrick Woods, Corravoo, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan General Hospital, on Sunday 22nd of May 2022. Predeceased by his parents Packie and Elizabeth, and brother Vincent.

Deeply regretted and remembered by sisters Rose, Mary and Anne, brothers Tommy and John, sister-in-law Madge, brother-in-law Freddie, nieces, nephews, cousins, the staff of Blackwater House, St. Davnet's Hospital, Monaghan and large circle of friends.

Reposing at Corrigans Funeral Home, The Commons, Castleblayney, A75 E361 from 4pm to 8pm on Monday the 23rd of May, and from 12pm to 2pm on Tuesday the 24th of May. Remains leaving Corrigans Funeral Home on May 24th after prayers at 2:30pm to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Broomfield, for funeral Mass at 3pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
