Brighter spells to round out Bank Holiday Weekend

Temperatures will range from 13 to 17 degrees

Monday will bring bright with sunny spells, mainly dry in Connacht and Ulster, which will avoid the worst of the forecast rainfall expected to hit other parts of the country.

“High temperatures will range from 13 to 17 degrees, with light easterly or variable breezes,” say Met Eireann.

The weather is forecast to become more “unsettled” from Tuesday onwards with spells of rain spreading from the southwest.

Temperatures though will remain in the high teens or low 20s.

“Scattered showers in Munster and Leinster, sunnier in the west and north. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, warmest in the northwest. Winds light and variable.”
