It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan over the past 24 hours, as reported on RIP.ie

Lenny Chopamba

Cavan

On July 10th 2022 peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of Cavan Hospital Coronary Care Unit and Medical 1, in the presence of her loving family, friends and Pastor, Lenny (nee Musuka). Beloved mother of Tinny, Barbra, Savious, Lillian, Maxwell, Son-in-law and Daughters-in-law. Doting grandmother of: Augustine (late), Tafadzwa (late), Tinotenda, Kelly, Stephanie, Kudzai, Wesley, Red, Maita, Hokoyo. Loving Great grandmother of: Tanyaradzwa and Esme Tanaka. Survived by siblings: brother Denford, Sister Mildred. Also sadly missed by relatives & a wide circle of friends.

May her dear soul rest in eternal peace.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium where the funeral service will be held on Saturday 16th July 2022 from 11am to 1.30pm, which can be live streamed on https://www.lakelandscrematorium.ie/ Burial afterwards in Anagh Lake Cemetery.

Amanda Boylan

49 Bree, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Amanda Boylan (nee Duffy) formerly of 49 Bree, Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan in Long Island, New York, on Saturday 9th of July surrounded by her loving family.

Amanda was the daughter of the late Pat Duffy and daughter in law of the late Henry Owen & Kathleen Boylan, Knockcor, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan.

Survived by her loving husband Brendan, son Gavin Patrick, her mother Bridie, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law and extended family members. Amanda will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Long Island NY and at home here in Ireland. A memorial service will take place in Long Island at a later date.

Peter Declan Quinn

Mount lodge, Lisnalong, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter Declan Quinn, Bedford, Bedfordshire, UK and formerly of Mount Lodge, Lisnalong, Co. Monaghan.

Declan died peacefully at ‘Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice’, Moggerhanger, Bedford on Saturday 2nd July 2022.

Pre-deceased by his parents Aiden and Bridie. Deeply regretted and remembered by his sisters Monica, Betty, Edel and Angela and his brothers Paddy, John, Con and Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

"May Declan Rest in Peace".

Farewell prayers and cremation ceremony will take place at Bedford Crematorium, 104 Norse Road, Bedford MK41 ORL at 4.00 pm on Wednesday 20th July 2022.
