Weather to improve this afternoon

Showers early today, heavy or thundery in parts, will clear and there'll be sunny spells in the afternoon with scattered lighter showers, according to Met Éireann's forecast for Ulster. Highest temperatures 17 to 22 degrees in fresh, occasionally strong, southwest winds.

There will be variable cloud tonight with a few well-scattered light showers. Later in the night it will turn more cloudy with some patchy rain. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees, in moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Tomorrow

Some bright or sunny intervals in store for tomorrow but there will be a good deal of cloud generally bringing in some rain or showers with the chance of a few heavy bursts. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees with moderate southwest winds veering west to northwesterly and easing later.
