Margaret DENNEHY (née McCaffrey)

Tallaght, Dublin / Shercock, Cavan

Dennehy (nee McCaffrey) (Tallaght and formerly of Shercock, Co. Cavan) – Aug 7, 2022, (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family, at Tallaght University Hospital, Margaret, beloved wife of the late Noel and dear mother of Mary and Teresa; Sadly missed by her loving daughters, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Tom and Rob, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cherished grandchildren Sadhbh, Liam, Seán and Darragh, nephews, nieces, relatives, many great neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm at the Ramon Massey & Son Funeral Home, 3 Main Street, Tallaght Village, (opposite The Priory). Removal on Thursday to the Church of St. Martin De Porres, Old Bawn arriving for 12.30pm Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Peter (P) Doughty

Drumrath, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Peter (P) Doughty, Drumrath, Virginia, Co. Cavan on 9th August 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his adored wife Bridget (Biddy). Beloved father of Peter, Roisin, Frances, Micheal and Cathal. Sadly missed by his Sons and daughters, sons-in -law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his son Peter's house, Drumrath, Virginia (A82 NN82) on Wednesday, 10th August, from 4pm to 8pm. House private at all other times. Removal on Thursday morning, 11th August, to St. Mary's Church, Cross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Mullagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Gillian (Jill) Hill (née McFadden)

Cavanageragh, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Gillian (Jill) Hill (née McFadden). Cavanageeragh, Carrickmacross.9th August 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband George, her daughters Linda & Gillian and her sister Valerie.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, her sons Richard (& Anne) & Alan (& Rachel), her daughters Valerie (& Neville Irwin), Jennifer (& Derek Kettyle), Jackie (& Daire Kindlon) & Emma (& Pauric McKeon), her adored grandchildren Andrew, Leona, Tracy, Amy, Faith, Hannah, Lee, Claire, James, Peter, Lucy, Jessica, Tara, Amanda, Jack, Anna, Molly, Jill & Bobby and her great-grandson George, her cousins, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Jill will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 10th August, from 7pm until 9:30pm. Jill's funeral cortège will leave Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday, 11th August, at 1:40pm, proceeding on foot to St. Finbar's Church, Carrickmacross, for Funeral Service at 2pm, then proceeding on foot to God's Acre Graveyard, Dundalk Road, Carrickmacross, for burial.

Funeral Home private on Thursday.

Hilda McCartney (née Jones)

Tiragarvan, Aghalile Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Hilda McCartney (née Jones). Tiragarvan, Aghalile Road, Carrickmacross, 8th August 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Babs and her infant sister Mildred.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her husband Dick, her daughters Karen & Vicky and her son Richard, her sons-in-law Paul & Roy and her daughter-in-law Ciara, her adored grandchildren Lauren, Zoey, Amy, Aaron, Emma & Laoise, her sisters Barbara (England) & Jeanette (McConnon) and her brothers Frankie (England) & Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Hilda's funeral cortège will leave Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday, 11th August, at 10:40am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at 2:30pm at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
