Mary Clarke (née Smith)

Mary Clarke (nee Smith) 8 Tullacmongan, Cavan Town, Monday, September 26th 2022, peacefully, in the loving care of her family, at her home. Mary will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her devoted husband Gerry, her family Pauline (Patrick), Sean (Mary Anne), Colleen and Gerry, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Tommy (Dickie) and Gene, sister in law Kathleen, brother in law Derek, nephews, nieces, all her extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Mary will repose at her home this evening, Monday, from 7pm until 10pm and again tomorrow, Tuesday, from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning from her home at 11.30am (driving) to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, the cortege will travel to Cullies Cemetery for committal prayers and burial.

Roisin Mc Cullagh

Mahon, Cork / Cootehill, Cavan

The death has occurred of Roisin Mc Cullagh, (Mahon, Cork, formerly Cootehill, Co Cavan), September 25th, 2022. Passed peacefully after a short illness. Born January 3rd, 1970. Beloved daughter to Mickey and Dolly (deceased), dearest sister to Mary, Geraldine, Patricia (deceased), Deirdre, Joseph, Eamonn, Ursula, Maedhbh and Ciaran, beloved aunt to her God children, Meghann, Laragh and Amie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; dearest and loving friend to a large community in Cork and Cootehill, and fellow members of the Vica Voce Choir. She will forever be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home (H16 FD25), Cootehill, Co.Cavan this Tuesday evening from 5 to 7.30pm. Funeral Cortege will leave Mullen’s Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church Cootehill for 12noon Funeral Mass. Followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middle Chapel, Cootehill.

Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Private Nursing Home, Virginia, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Brigid and her siblings. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, Brigid Clarke (Seefin), Tommy Smith (Cargagh), Patrick Smith (Derryham) and Roseann Traynor (Cargagh), relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing Tuesday at 'The Village Chapel Of Rest', Mullagh A82DE28, from 3pm to 5.30pm with removal to St. Ultan's Church, Killinkere, to arrive for 6.30pm. Requiem Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am, followed by interment in St. Ultan's cemetery.

Alan Tynan, Drumina, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Wednesday, September 21st, (peacefully) at St. James' Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Recently predeceased by his nephew Oran. Sadly missed by his parents Michael and Kitti, brothers and sisters Damien (Angela), Miki (Fiona), Jacinta (Tony), David (Sarah), Leighanne (Anthony), Janine (Daithi), nieces Kiara, Íosa, Ava, Émer, Sinéad, Lauren, nephews Shane, Oisín, Oran (RIP), Regan, Caolain, Conor, Finán, James, Darragh and Devin, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Raymond (Roy), James Hickey

The death has occurred of Raymond (Roy) James Hickey, Clonmore, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Raymond passed away peacefully at his daughter Rosemarie and son-in-law Bernard's residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. Predeceased by his son Raymond.

Beloved husband of Bridie and adored father of Kevin, Rosemarie, Ann, and Patricia. Raymond will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, son, daughters-in-law Pauline and Annmarie, sons-in-law, Bernard, Dermot and Maurice, grandchildren, Conor, Ciara, Grace, Seamus, Anna-Rose, Rachel, Kate, Aisling and Maurice, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Raymond.

The death has occurred of Peter O’Farrell, Creevy Swinburn, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan peacefully in the tender care of the staff at St. Mary’s Nursing Home, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday 26th September 2022. Predeceased by his father Kevin and his mother Lily. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family Margaret, Frank, Seán, Carolyn, Stephen, Amanda, Eileen, Robbie, Táine, uncle Dessie, aunt Margie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
