Ellie Keogan (née McCabe)

Killatain, Carrickaboy, Cavan / Crosskeys, Cavan

Ellie Keogan Née McCabe, Killatain, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan Sunday Oct. 9th peacefully (in her 98th year) at home in the loving care of her family. Beloved wife of the late Seamus and dear mother of Mary, Brian, Jimmy, Sean, Eamon, Michael and Declan. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, sons, daughters in law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home this Monday evening from 5.00pm until 8.00pm and again on Tuesday from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday Oct. 12th at 12.00 noon, in St. Matthews Church Crosskeys, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Neil Ford, Kilnacrott, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, died Friday, October 7th, peacefully, following a short illness, at the Lisdarn Unit Cavan. Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, daughter Nicola (Aran), son Andrew (Santina), brother Christopher, grandchildren Samuel, Liam, Jade, Luke, Ryan and Khloe, great-grandchildren Lenni-Mae, Nancy and Arlo, father in law Mike, brother in law David, relatives, neighbours and friends.

At Rest

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck, Tuesday 11th from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from his home on Thursday 13th at 10am for burial in Woodbrook Natural Burial Grounds, Ballinlug East, Co. Wexford, at approx 1pm.

Larry Keenan

Kingscourt Road, Shercock, Cavan / Monaghan

Formerly Laragh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Larry has sadly passed away peacefully and in the loving care of his family at his bedside, along with the professional and caring staff of the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Annie & Pat. A kind and loving husband to Bernie, an adored father to P.J., Laurence, Ann & Rosie. Much loved grandfather to Conor, Ryan, Jessica, Dean, Brendan & Eleanor. Deeply respected by his daughter-in-law Rosemarie and sons-in-law Declan and Raymond. Sadly mourned by his sisters Annamay & Bridgie and their children Teresa, Patrick, Josephine & Thomas. Sadly missed by a wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.

May you be proud of the work that you have done, the person you were and the difference that you made.

Jean O'Beirne, nee Denton, Greagharue, Kells Road, Bailieborough, Co Cavan and formerly Clondalkin, Co. Dublin, died 8th October 2022, suddenly, at her residence. Sadly missed by her loving husband Tommy, Devoted daughters Brenda, Suzanne and Eileen, brother Willie, sisters Lolly and Doreen, sons in law John and James, grandchildren Anthony, Shauna, Lee, Nicole, Darragh, Cillian and Tadhg, great-grandchildren Luka and Hallie, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Peacefully, on the 8th October 2022, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved daughter of Brenda and James, sister of James Junior, aunt to Molly and Molly's mother Michelle, granddaughter of Teresa and the late Gerry Cranny (Darver) and the late Elizabeth and Jim Doherty (Carrickmacross). Sadly missed by her aunts Therese, Caroline, Jackie, Eileen, Clare and predeceased by her late Aunt Alice, her uncles John, Niall, Bernard, Patrick and predeceased by her late Uncle Peter. Sadly missed and always remembered by her wonderful cousins, great friends, extended family, relatives and all who loved her.

Reposing at the family home (Eircode A91 ET66) from 2pm on Monday and Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by cremation.

The death has occurred of Anne Maher (née Ward). Griffith Court, Marino, Dublin 3 & formerly of Monaghan Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan on 8th October 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at Fairview Community Unit. Predeceased by her parents Michael & Ellen, her infant sister Ellen and her sisters Margaret & Eithne.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, her sons Derek & Conor, her daughters-in-law Louise & Terava, her adored grandchildren Thomas, Matthew, Hannon, Orla & Mannix, her sisters Christina & Mary and her brothers Denis, John, Michael, Brian, Patrick & Mark, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Anne's funeral cortège will leave the Kirwan Funeral Home on Wednesday, 12th October, arriving to Saint Vincent de Paul Church, Griffith Avenue, Marino, D09 KN 83, for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, A81 DF82, arriving at approx 2:30pm.

The death has occurred of Vincent Mc Eneaney, Cremartin, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Sunday October 9th peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by his wife Ann, baby daughter Caroline, sisters Mary Eccles and Sue Woods. Vincent, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, daughters Sharon and Áine, his cherished granddaughter Kerrie Ann and her boyfriend Stephen, sister in-law Teresa Maguire, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing privately at home, among his family. Vincent’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home on Tuesday morning at 11am to arrive at St Michael’s Church Annyalla for funeral Mass at 11:30am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Bernadette (Bernie) Murphy

Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home and formerly Old Cross Square, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Peacefully, October 9th 2022, surrounded by her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her dear sister Carmel Forde and her brothers Brendan and Paudge.

Sadly missed by her niece Regina Macklin, nephews Adrian Forde, Barry, Allan and Vincent Murphy, sister in law Nancy Murphy, extended family and her dear friends.

Removal on Monday (10/10/2022), arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (11/10/2022) at 11 a.m.
