Violet Pratt

Drummullig, Butlersbridge, Cavan

Violet Pratt, 29 Petersfield Close, Edmonton, London and “Swan Lake”, Drummullig, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan., Thursday October 06th 2022 suddenly at Hospital in London. Now reunited with her brother Edgar and sister Leila. Beloved sister of John (USA) and George (England), her partner and best friend, Fred Tilson. Remembered with love by her brothers, sisters in law, partner, beloved niece, Deborah, her nephews, nieces, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins in Ireland, England and USA, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Resting in her home at “Swan Lake” Drummullig, Butlersbridge, Cavan on Friday 14th from 2pm until 6pm. (Walk through only with no hand shaking). House strictly private at all other times please. Funeral service in Derryheen parish church on Saturday at 12:00 noon followed by burial in St. Fethlimidh’s Cathedral parish graveyard.

Heathervue, Greystones, Wicklow / Clones, Monaghan

Alastair McNeill of Heathervue, Greystones, Co. Wicklow & formerly Clones, Co. Monaghan. October 11th 2022 peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the loving care of all the staff of Wicklow Hospice Magheramore. Predeceased by his parents Seamus & Imelda (née Fitzpatrick) & infant brother Brian. Remembered with love by his family, devoted wife Mary (née Mulvihill), adored daughters Síona & Caríosa, siblings Attracta, Barry, Ursula, Paul, Ultan, Áine, Brendan, Fionnuala, Jackie & Karen, mother-in-law Teresa, Caríosa’s fiancé Maxime, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews, extended family & large circle of friends, not forgetting his four legged pal Alfie.

The death has occurred of Eamonn Mc Adam, Clareoghill, Doohamlet, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan. Tuesday, October 11th, peacefully in the tender loving care of the Matron and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital Castleblayney. Predeceased by his wife Jean, parents Edward and Sarah Mc Adam, brother John, sister Kathleen Marray and niece Martina Marray - Tormey. Eamonn, deeply regretted and remembered with love by his nieces and nephews Geraldine Murtagh, Eamon Marray, Michael Marray, Brenda Marray - Campbell, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Eamonn will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Castleblayney tomorrow, Wednesday, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am to arrive at All Saints Church, Doohamlet for funeral Mass at 11:30 am followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Click on the link to view Eamonn’s funeral mass.
