Mary Browne (née Lynch)

Blanchardstown, Dublin / Ballyhaise, Cavan

Mary Browne (née Lynch) Blanchardstown, Dublin, Sunday Oct. 16th, peacefully, at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved wife of Frankie. Predeceased by her sister Phyllis. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sisters Jean and Ann, brothers Jackie Eamon and P.J, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Tuesday from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning from Lakelands Funeral Home at 10.30am to St Mary’s Church, Ballyhaise, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, interment afterwards in Cullies Cemetery.

Matthew HANNON

Bray, Wicklow / Killinkere, Cavan

Matthew Hannon of Bray, Manchester and formerly of Killinkere, Virginia, Co. Cavan, passed away peacefully, in his 91st year, on Saturday 15th October, 2022, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his brothers Benny, John, Alex, Danny and sister Rita. Beloved husband of Elvira, much loved father of Rosaleen and Paul, father-in-law of Mark and Aisling and adored “Grandad Mattie” of Rory and Naoise. He will be sadly missed by his family and extended family in Ireland, Manchester and Spain, by Maria Teresa, Aida and Fidel, and by his friends and neighbours. No flowers please. Donations, if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Edwin Lochaden

Drumagoland / Stramaquerty, Virginia, Cavan

At home after an illness bravely borne. Edwin passed away on Sunday the 16th of October. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sarah. Deeply regretted by his loving family, Sharon (Alex), Sarah (Robert), Edwin"Ned" (Ruth), sisters Esmenia Waller, Ann Craven, sister in law Lil Byers, brother in law Jim Craven, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Safe in the Arms of Jesus.

Sarah O'Reilly (née Fegan)

Lear, Bailieborough, Cavan

Sarah O'Reilly (nee Fegan) Lear, Bailieborough, Co Cavan. Formerly of Selsingen, Germany. Passed away October 16th 2022, in Beaumont Hospital ICU, after a short illness. Dearly missed by her loving husband Patrick O'Reilly, their beautiful new twin babies Lilly and PJ, her beloved parents Christa and Bill Fegan, her brother Daniel and his fiancée Mareike. Dearly missed by her in-laws Wanie and Pat A O'Reilly, brothers and sisters in law Torlac (Cork), Brid (Australia), Sinead and Sean (Bailieborough) and her nieces and nephews Emily, Andrew, Torlac Og O'Reilly, Liam and George Donnelly, Arthur, Isabella and Jarlath Jackson. Sadly missed by all her extended family and close friends throughout Ireland and Germany.

The death has occurred of Frank Mc Cabe, 98 Avenue, Clones Co Monaghan, Sunday 16th October, peacefully at the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pete Burns

Corrinshigo, Culloville, Castleblayney, Monaghan, A75 XT62

The death has occurred of Pete Burns, Corrinshigo, Culloville, Castleblayney, 16th October 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry. Predeceased by his brothers Gerard, Gene & Ned and his sisters Eileen & Betty.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Teresa, his sons Eamon, Michael & Kevin and his daughters Kathleen (Carville), Eileen (Dunne), Sheila, Annmarie & Laura (Lynch), his daughters-in-law Stella & Caroline and sons-in-law Martin, Garreth & Kieran, his adored grandchildren Ellen, Cormac Jack, Niamh, Niall, Padraic, Katie, Amy, Ciaran, Anna, Tom, Kevin & Moya, his brothers Michael (USA), Larry (Churchtown) & Johnny (Dundalk) and his sisters Susan (Cumiskey, Broomfield), Kitty (Laverty, Dundalk) & Philomena (Rafferty, Dundalk), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Pete will repose at his home, Corrinshigo A75 XT 62, on Monday, 17th October, from 7pm and on Tuesday, 18th October, from 12 noon.

Pete's funeral cortège will leave his home on Wednesday, 19th October, arriving to St. Patrick's Church, Broomfield, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining new cemetery.
