Martha Jean Bennett (nee Mc Clelland), Virginia Primary Care Centre, Dublin Road, Virginia and late of Ballintemple, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan., Tuesday October 18th 2022 peacefully at Virginia Primary Care Centre surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John and grandson Mark. Dear mother of Winston (Wilma), Ann (David), Everett (Jennifer), Meriel (Gordon), Norman (Lorraine) and Edwin (Sandra). Remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Resting at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia, tomorrow Wednesday from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. (walk-through only, with no handshaking). Funeral leaving the home of her daughter and son in law, Ann and David Gordan, Duffcastle, Crosserlough on Thursday at 1pm, arriving St. Patrick's Parish Church, Ballintemple for funeral service at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining churchyard.

Emer Jones (nee Trainor) Rakeevan, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Died 18th October 2022, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Matt. Deeply regretted by her son Darragh, daughter Neasa, brothers Patrick, Tom, Colm, Niall and Michael, sisters Breda and Mary, daughter in law Grainne, son in law Karl, grandchildren David, Conor, Cian and Ailbhe, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral to leave her residence Friday afternoon at 1.40pm to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral Mass at 2pm with burial afterwards in St Anne's Cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) McHugh

Corralacka, Glangevlin, Cavan

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Patrick “Paddy“ McHugh. Originally of Corralacka, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, then of Greenford, London and most recently of Bushey, Hertfordshire on 8th October 2022. Predeceased by his loving wife Teresa and sister Mary Margaret. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Margaret and Patricia and son Philip, nieces Marian and Kathleen, brother in law Oliver and sister in law Josie, relatives and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

His remains will be received at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford on 26th October at 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 27th October, at 10 am followed by burial at Greenford Park Cemetery. Sarah O'Reilly (née Fegan)

Lear, Bailieborough, Cavan

Sarah O'Reilly (nee Fegan) Lear, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Formerly of Selsingen, Germany. Passed away October 16th 2022, in Beaumont Hospital ICU, after a short illness. Dearly missed by her loving husband Patrick O'Reilly, their beautiful new twin babies Lilly and PJ, her beloved parents Christa and Bill Fegan, her brother Daniel and his fiancée Mareike. Dearly missed by her in-laws Wanie and Pat A O'Reilly, brothers and sisters in law Torlac (Annette) (Cork), Brid (Denis) (Australia), Sinead (Cathal) and Sean (Bailieborough) and her nieces and nephews Emily, Andrew, Torlac Og O'Reilly, Liam and George Donnelly, Arthur, Isabella and Jarlath Jackson. Sadly missed by all her extended family and close friends throughout Ireland, America, Spain, UK and Germany.

Seamus Smith

Burren, Killeshandra, Cavan

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family in his 90th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridget. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his heartbroken children Sharon (Dowd), Martin and Maria, his much loved grandchildren Ollie, Tom, Anna, and Tess, his brother Michael, son-in-law Martin, Martin's partner Beatrice, sisters-in-law Mary and Tess, brothers-in-law John and Edward, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home, Erne Hill, Belturbet (Eircode H14 R583) on Wednesday evening from 5.30 pm to 8pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning to arrive St Patrick's Church, Kilnavart, for funeral mass at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Rose (Rose) Clarke (née Flanagan)

Cornanure, Broomfield, Monaghan / Castleblayney, Monaghan / Ballina, Mayo

The death has occurred of Mary Rose (Rose) Clarke (née Flanagan). Cornanure, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan & formerly Frierstown, Knockmore, Ballina, Co. Mayo. 17th October 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, at her home. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Gerard and her daughters Patricia & Maura, her parents Francis & Kathleen, her brother Francis Jr & her sister Helen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her son Francis & daughter-in-law Eryka, her adored grandchildren Gerard & Emer, her sister Sheila (Cunningham) and her brothers Pat, Gerard, Leo, Edward, Jim & Brian, sisters-in-law, nephews & nieces, most especially her niece Catherine, relatives and friends.

Rose will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 20th October, from 3pm until 6pm. Rose's funeral cortège will leave Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home on Thursday evening proceeding to St. Patrick's Church, Broomfield, arriving for prayers of reception at 7pm. Rose's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 21st October, at 11am followed by private cremation.

Winifred (Winnie) Margaret Mary McEvoy

Bray, Wicklow / Castleblayney, Monaghan

Winifred (Winnie) Margaret, Mary McEvoy (née Kelly) Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly Castleblaney and Florida. October 18th. 2022. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Columcille's Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, daughters Rhea and Patricia, granddaughter Aoife and sisters Charlotte and Sheila. Very sadly missed by her sons Fr. John and Mark, daughter-in-law Sheila, granddaughters Ciara and Allison and their spouses Andrew and Aron, her great-grandchildren Aibhie, Marley, Georgia, Jack and Harry, her sisters Nora and Iona, extended family and friends.

Winnie will be reposing at her home on Thursday evening, October 20th. from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of The Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray followed by interment in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Dublin 18.

Patrick (Patsy) Pepper, Annamarran, Carrickmacross. Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 18th October. Deeply regretted by his brother John and Mattie, sisters Sheila and Rosie, nephews, nieces and friends.

Reposing at his home from (A81VH39) 4pm to 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday morning at 11.50am to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for Mass at 12.30pm burial in adjoining cemetery.
