Christmas wrapped up with Cavan Credit Union

Preparations for the festive season are commencing and Cavan Credit Union is making members' festive wishes come true this Christmas. No matter how you celebrate this time of the year, be it something small or with all the trimmings, Cavan Credit union offers flexible loans from a lender who cares.

CEO, Therese Conway, spoke of what Cavan Credit Union are doing for customers: “We are gearing up for a busy December and Christmas period here at Cavan Credit Union. We know that this winter members are feeling the impact of the rise in costs. One of the biggest price rises has been in energy and heating bills, therefore, we are offering a Winter Fuel Loan at a reduced loan interest rate to help our members spread winter fuel costs over the next 12 months.

"People can contact us the credit union on 049-4331715 or go online to the loan calculator on the website - www.cavancu.ie - to find out more about the Winter Fuel Loan and the many different types of loans that we offer. We have added a number of new loan products during the course of 2022 for our members. These include Cultivate Farm Loans and Greenify Loans for home energy upgrades, both at very competitive rates.

This year Cavan Credit Union also introduced MYCU current accounts and debit mastercard services. "We are very busy at the moment opening current accounts for members and we would encourage anyone who has yet to make the switch to do so now," said Ms Conway.

Appointments can be booked on the website, app or on the phone to meet with a dedicated Credit Union officer to take you through the process of opening a new account or switch any payments coming in or out of the account to your new account.

"The feedback from members who now have the MYCU Current Account and Debit Card, has been very positive as it offers you full banking facilities and access to your money 24/7 anywhere in the world," said Ms Conway.

"Overall 2022 has been a very positive year for Cavan Credit Union and we look towards the New Year we look forward to continuing to play our part in supporting the community of Cavan and being there for our members and providing for all of their financial needs," she added.

Ms Conway concluded by wishing all Cavan Credit Union members the best of Christmas wishes.
