Ladies Lunch set to return

The annual Cavan Ladies Lunch is set to return this coming year following a hiatus due to the pandemic.

The sold-out gala event with raffle, fashion show and entertainment, takes place at the Farnham Estate Spa tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm.

It is the fifth time the Cavan Ladies Lunch has taken place to date, with close to €100,000 raised for charity.

This year Cuan Cancer Support and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin are the chosen charities.

Ranjit Elliott, one of the event’s organisers along with Una Elliott, Sarah Boylan, Dorothy Clarke and Rosie Baker, explained: “We’ll have 230 ladies in attendance. It is totally sold out. We sold out for our lunch in just three days, which is a phenomenal response, and speaks volumes to the success of the event in previous years.”
