The late Joe McIntyre

Passing of former Ballyconnell news correspondent

The management and staff of The Anglo-Celt sympathise with the family and friends of the late Joe McIntyre, Daisyhill, Ballyconnell, and formerly Kilcorby, Belturbet, who passsed away on November 23 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Joe was our former Ballyconnell local news correspondent. Deeply proud of his locality, he arried out his reporting role with dedication. While he lived in London for many years, a means by which he kept involved in his home county was through the London Cavan Association. His commitment was recognised with a life presidency.

Joe's passing is deeply regretted by his loving wife Lily, son Desmond (Sean), daughter Jacqueline, daughter-in-law Breda, grandchildren Caoimhe, Chelsea & Senan, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Rest in Peace.
