Charlie Corr, Lisdaran, Cavan, Tuesday, April 30th 2024, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Joseph’s, Lisdaran, Cavan, in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters and his first wife, Jean.

Beloved husband and best friend of Stella and devoted father of Anthony (Joy) Enda, Shane (Bláithín) Sinéad, (P.J.) and Jennifer. Charlie will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and family, his adored grandchildren Sophie, Thomas, Liam, Jack, Laura, Sarah, Paul, Sarah, Rachel and Aoife, brother Jim, Sister Una, nephews, nieces, all his extended family and many friends.

May Charlie Rest In Peace.

Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan H12 C821 on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 1.00pm in the Cathedral of Ss Patrick & Felim, Cavan. Following Mass, the cortege will travel to St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry, for committal prayers and burial.

Drumora, Crossdoney, Cavan / Cavan Town, Cavan

Julia Coyle (née McKiernan), Drumora, Crossdoney, Cavan, (formerly of Swellan and Farnham). Cavan. Sunday 28th April, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Julia is pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Patrick and Michael, her sister Eileen, her precious granddaughter Grace, and nephew Kevin. Beloved Mother of Paul, Charmaine, Audrey, Elaine, Louise and Brian. She will be very sadly missed by Terry, her sister Bridget Bagshaw, grandchildren Lydia, Elinore, Alice, Liam and Cian, sons-in-law James and Matthew, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12RF78 on Thursday evening, 2nd May, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11.00am in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan. Interment afterwards in Coronea Cemetery.

Cologne, Germany

Vincent Gregory, Lattyloo, Cootehill, County Cavan and Cologne, Germany. Suddenly in Spain. Beloved husband of Mary, deeply mourned by his sister Mary, brother in law Aiden, nephews Joshua and Tobias, sisters in law Bridie and Geraldine, nieces and nephew, relatives and wide circle of friends.

Vincent's sad and premature passing has created a huge void in so many people's lives.

A Funeral Mass will be at celebrated by Father Gerard Daly at 11am on Wednesday, 1 May, in Eglise de San Pedro de Alcantara, Parroquia San Pedro de Alcantara, Plaza de la Iglesia, San Pedro, Alcantara, Malaga, Spain. All are most welcome.

Sandymount, Dublin / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

CALLAN John (Seán) (Sandymount, Dublin and late of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan) 29th April 2024 (peacefully) at the Blackrock Hospice. Beloved husband of Olive and much loved father of Emma and Claire. He will be greatly missed by his family, his sister Marie (Fitzgerald), Claire’s partner Liam, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, niece, extended family, friends and former colleagues in Aer Lingus.

Removal on Friday, 3rd May, to the Church of St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, Sandymount for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am, followed by a private family cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice. House strictly private.

(née Hughes)

Park Road, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Castlebar, Mayo

Passed away peacefully on 29th April in her 94th year surrounded by her loving family at Swinford District Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Tony, daughters Deirdre and Fiona and her son Neil.

Sadly missed by her family Nola, Fergal, Áine, Orlagh and Emer, her sister Ivy, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd May. Removal to St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan on Friday 3rd May for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Castlebar, Co Mayo on Saturday 4th May at 2 p.m.
